They are stiff enough so they aren't flexing and my steppers fit in them just fine. That's really the key. There's two support pieces that appear to be tack welded after the main part of the bracket was bent to 90 degrees to keep it stiff. I think they look like they will hold up over time. If you have a project that will use steppers or servos these look like a good option if they will work with your design.
