The thickness on the neoprene strips were perfect, applied them to the leading edge of the grill guard on my truck. In the event I ever need to push something out of the way (doubtful) the strips are there to protect the painted part of my grill guard.

Bought to use as a "buffer" between a equipment rack and utility bed. First thing I noticed was the density of the strip - very solid! I was also surprised at how "sticky" it is - I expected it to be slick and try to slide, but instead it almost grabs the material. VERY pleased.

Bought it to put over seams of metal horse trailer I re finished and started falling off within a couple of days. Left a yellow residue so now I have to fix that and find new seam trim. Bought some frome a trailer sales place and that stuff hasn't budged. I knew better but I thought I'd give it a try. Wish I could get a refund but I'm sure I'm SOL.
