I love these! They are perfect for so many me, for getting in the freezing cold ocean here in Oregon with my wetsuit, but also just for being able to walk in the cold water on the beach... and I've used them many, many times on pebbly beaches, wading in cold water; they protect my feet, keep them warm enough, and they make it possible to walk on the rocks in what feels like bare feet, since the neoprene acts as a soft cushion under the feet. These are like a wetsuit, so not quite so easy to get off, but that's to be expected. They don't take up much space, and so are really easy to fit into a backpack...I've ordered these several times over the past few years. I'm very happy with them.

I bought these neoprene socks to hike The Subway-8.6 miles in Zion. It was a cold day and we were traversing the river often throughout the hike. The neoprene socks kept my feet dry and warm. They fit comfortably in my shoes and I liked the crew length because the water never got any higher than that. They were extremely comfortable to hike in especially with the distance we hiked. They had been recommended to me by a friend and I'm so glad she did! I'm going to be hiking the Aravaipa Canyon next and will be wearing the neoprene socks because we'll be hiking through water. This was an excellent buy!

Update: The quality and durability is poor, after only three months both socks have holes in the soles. Then the upper section of one all but ripped in half. Neoprene socks normally last me a couple of years. They might be okay if diving from a boat but certainly not durable enough for kayaking.Quite impressed with the quality, the socks use open cell neoprene which means they seal extra well against the skin which helps keep cold water out, although at the expense of durability. A good product for the money.I ordered XXL and they were just big enough to fit my large US15 feet.Because they are open cell, using a lubricant or even water makes putting them on much easier.

My girl friends and I go on a big hiking trip once a year and our most recent trip was to Zion National Park to hike angel's landing and the narrows. The narrows is an all water hike and the water is chilly. I bought this to wear inside my water shoes to keep my feet warm and they were perfect! I wear women's size 8.5 shoes and ordered the small size in this sock and they fit just right. They were comfortable and snug without being too tight, and were nice and thick. My feet stayed warm the whole time! Since some people seem to be confused, this is NOT a waterproof sock (but those do exist)! This sock is meant to keep your feet warm the way a wetsuit keeps your body warm in the ocean. I'm also an experienced SCUBA diver and I'll probably start wearing these under my fins for really cold dives as well. I can definitely recommend these for water hiking! Hope this helps.

I used these neoprene dive socks for jet skiing in 50 degree (Fahrenheit) water. I’m impressed with the performance - 3mm thickness did a great job keeping my feet warm and also keeping me stable in the tray.I used these socks in conjunction with a 3mm wetsuit - over the sock. I also used these, as an actual sock with water shoes; and without. I ride a standup jet ski and so I am in the water and getting wet. These socks held up on the ski, in the water, trudging through the muddy/rocky lake bottom; and walking on the concrete ramp and asphalt parking lot. I even drove home with them on 😁I think these are a great solution for “socks” when wearing water shoes like Jet Pilot. I really appreciate being able to put my shoes on over these socks and take shoes off wet with no problem. I plan to buy at least one more plan as I think these will work well for SUP, kayaking and rowing.

When I opened I found the socks ridiculy small due to a wrong size delivery, and I thought I had to return them. Luckly I didn't ! Later I tried them on anyway, and for my surprise they fit perfectly. Even though I haven't use them yet, they look well done, warm and confortable, so I think I will keep them, and recomend to friends.

I bought these booties in a size Small based on the size chart (I'm a size US7 /Euro 38 women's shoe). They fit my foot, once I managed to get them on, but the ankle was sooo tight that I could barely get them off. During the time I tried them, they began to cut off the circulation at my ankle, leaving a mark (five minutes). Bought a second pair from a different brand and same issue, so tried a third pair and finally found one that stretches enough at the ankle to get on/off comfortably. Either size up or go with a different kind. I found that thinner material actually made for the most comfortable, and these were thick, so not comfortable. If you're getting booties with the elastic ankle, you can afford to size up because you can tighten the ankle as needed.

Vendor tells you to measure your foot from the tip of your toe to the back of your heel, and order according to foot length. This does not take into account the circumference of your foot. The sole fit my foot perfectly but the sock was at least 3" too wide for my foot and ankle. If I had ordered a shorter foot, my heel would have been right on top of the seam while walking -- not comfortable.I offered the socks to a friend with bigger feet, and the first time he tried them on, the sock TORE OPEN at the horizontal seam behind the heel.My suggestion would be to look for socks that do not have a separate sole (socks that have vertical seams only).
