The Mandolin/Ukulele Strap can even be used on small guitars! It’s easy to attach and holds your instrument securely. The strap comes with several options for customizing the length as well as the method of attachment. Both sides of the strap have extension pieces which can be adjusted or quickly removed with quick-release buckles if needed in order to get the shoulder pad positioned perfectly. Each extension piece can add 5.75"–8.75" (14,6cm–22,2 cm) to the strap.
While the back of the strap offers a quick-release leather tab for use with a strap pin, the front side offers two choices of attachment hardware also with a quick-release buckle. It offers a loop attachment with a triglide buckle to secure around either the headstock or the scroll of an F-Style mandolin as well as a top-grade leather attachment for instruments with a strap pin. The modular system makes this the most versatile and comfortable strap on the market. With extra
Mandolin/Ukulele Connectors (sold separately) you can keep a set of connectors on a second instrument to make switching from one to another faster and easier than ever!

At first, I was disappointed because the way it shipped made it appear that the 'comfortable' part of the strap was going to end up on my back no matter what I tried. Then I realized that there are several detachable pieces, and you can mix and match them to make the 'comfortable' part sit wherever you want it to. You can also disconnect the strap using those same detachable links, and leave the end pieces attached to your instrument so you won't wear it out by attaching and detaching it.It's not going to win and 'best looking strap' awards. It's pretty plain, but it's functional, comfortable, and durable. That's pretty important too.*edit*I used this at a gig on Saturday night. The strap worked fine - although I have a few additional comments.I'm using this on an F style mandolin. The included scroll attachment works, however it's a little thin. When I set my mandolin down to play a different instrument, the strap managed to slip off the scroll several times. It would work better if the scroll attachment were the same thickness of the strap. Also, I use a wireless pack. I didn't even think of this when I bought this strap, but it's sort of tough to attach a wireless pack anywhere on this strap. I managed to jam it in the extension part and strap it in there, but then it was right in the way of my arm.None of this is a deal killer. The strap is still great. It's pretty comfortable, and if they had a cradle strap for a banjo, I'd consider buying one of those too.*edit 9/1/2019I've gigged this strap on an f style mandolin since 2017. I just replaced the old leather strap on my backup f style mandolin with this after I realized I hate my leather strap. It's been a great, comfortable strap. Also - I just noticed - it's made in the USA!*Edit 2/23/2021I still love this strap!

I bought 2, based on the description ,and was very happy I did. Lots of adjustment features so can be adjusted in all combinations. The release clips are a good idea so the strap can be removed but leaves the connection points for a quick hookup.

First of all let me clarify that I love this strap I got for my mandolin and I would recommend it for your mandolin or Ukulele. It fits comfortably around the shoulder and works exactly as it was designed to do. My only problem with this product is with Amazon and not with the strap itself. If you look at the product as advertised on Amazon it shows that the strap comes with 6 pieces total - the main strap, 2 strap pin tabs, 2 extension pieces and a loop connector. All these parts are listed in the product description as well. However if you buy this strap for $25 or less (if you're a Prime member) then you do NOT get all the parts for the strap as advertised. You will only receive the main strap, 1 strap pin tab and the loop connector. This product as offered on Amazon is the original strap and not the new and improved model that has the extra pieces as advertised. The new model with the extras actually costs $29.99 regular price and not $25. I had to call Neotech and they were kind enough to send me the extra pieces free of charge which I should get in about a week.Like I said it's a great strap and works very well for my mandolin. The extra pieces will help to make wearing it more versatile depending on what instrument you use it for. My advice to you is if you want to buy this strap make sure first what you are getting or not getting for the price you pay. This is the only reason why I'm giving the strap 4 out of 5 stars. I'll be talking to Amazon next to update and correct their advertising.

I have this strap on an Ibanez picollo guitar. It works great at its job and the padded area makes it comfortable. The options for either connecting to a strap button or to wrap around the instrument head makes it so it will be compatible with almost any instrument.

I bought this strap to put on my tenor ukulele. I tried putting the upper "leash" part of the strap right above the nut as suggested, but found the strap kinda got in the way of my left, fretting hand. Because the head stock is narrow enough, I ended up re-positioning the upper leash on the head stock between the two sets of tuners. Hope that makes sense. That position worked just great, with the shoulder strap now out of the way of my hand. It also took a little bit of fiddling with the various extensions to get the position of the padded shoulder strap just right. But once I figured out the proper placement it is all good. Very happy with the set up. I put another set of upper leash and lower strap button attachment parts on my second ukulele and now I can easily switch the main strap between the two ukes with ease. The little spring loaded catches that release the strap are pretty tiny and are a bit difficult to depress to detach, but it's not that big a deal since I'm not switching the strap between instruments that often.

THE COMPANY REPRESENTATIVES WERE MUCH BETTER THAN THE PRODUCT ORDEREDNEEDED SOMETHING TO HOLD MY UKE IN PLACE SO I ORDERED THIS ITEM. ORIGINAL ITEM WAS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MY UKE. HAD NO WAY OF ATTACHING THE ITEM TO THE UKE. WHEN I CALLED THE COMPANY TO EXPLAIN WHY I COULD NOT ATTACHED THE ARM SLING TO THE UKE, THEY IMMEDIATELY KNEW THAT I ORDERED THE WRONG ITEM. THE REPRESENTATIVE KNEW MY PROBLEM AND SAID HE WOULD SEND THE TYPE THAT WOULD ATTACH TO MY UKE.HE TOLD ME NOT TO BOTHER TO SEND THE ORIGINAL ARM ATTACHMEMENT BACK. HE ADVISED ME TO GIVE IT TO SOMEONE WHO HAD A GUITAR. GREAT DEALING WITH PEOPLE LIKE THIS. I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU ORDER THIS ITEM TO SECURE YOU UKE AS YOU PLAY IT. HARD TO FIND ANYTHING THAT WILL TRULY ASSIST YOU TO HOLD ON TO YOUR UKE. FORGET ANY TYPE OF SHOULDER STRAP FOR YOUR UKE. THE SECOND STRAP SENT REQUIRED ME TO ADD AN ATTACHMENT TO MY UKE WHICH WOULD HAVE EFFECTED THE TONE.

You can place the strap around the neck without changing strings. Detachable parts.

I've just received my third of these and it probably won't be my last. It might not be showy compared to other straps, but what it lacks in glitz, it repays in practically every other department. It's not expensive compared to other straps, it takes up less room in your case, it's easily removed and the full kit provides a number of different ways of attaching your instrument. The clips are an excellent idea and provide a way of avoiding wear on the leather round the strap button. One minor, particular gripe is that I wish the strap button attachment was slightly larger (perhaps with a small washer), the headway pickup system on two of my instruments uses a combined strap button and jack socket, which is slightly on the large side and I had to do some work to get a decent fit.

I have a number of these well-made straps. I have them on my baritones and also a small guitar. The strap can be used by those who use 2 strap buttons or like me, who attach the strap to the headstock. Although I have other straps (came with an instrument etc), these are the only strap I would buy, and it’s comfortable, too.

Excellent for use on ukulele. It is easy to put onto the Uke, especially as there is a demo video of this on the suppliers website! I like the disconnect system/quick release buckles. The detachable centre part makes it possible to detach and fit the Uke in a tight fitting case without removing either end - i.e. the end loop part attached to the headstock just above the nut or the leather end part attached to the strap button at the base of bottom bout.It is a comfortable strap and comes with two extensions which you may or may not need depending quite a bit upon your height and how you hold your instrument as well as the instrument itself.I don’t know if it’s recommended but I’ve seen someone on YouTube adjust the strap to hang up their Uke.

It took a awhile to figure out how to pull it all apart and adjust to the ring size. Instructions would have been useful
