I like these neck straps. They are simple and effective. I prefer the open hook for the instrument ring rather than a latching hook.

After many years of NOT playing my sax I taken it up again. This is my THIRD strap I've tried --- the first two I HATE! They have a padded neck piece, clips to attaching to the sax, and method of lowering and raising that is hard to deal with. THIS strap is the plain, simple, comfortable type I want. Put it on, draw it up to where I want it and just put the hook through the hole. And it HOLDS--no slipping! VERY SATISFIED----FINALLY!!!

We purchased this for my young son (9) who just started taking sax. The one that came with his sax was uncomfortable, so we were looking to not spend a lot of money (as we don't know if he will stick with this) but find a replacement. So far, so good.Good quality, and it does what it is suppose to do. My only comment would be that it does have a hook, not a clip, so if the child doesn't pay attention it can slip off. But even with that I would recommend, just warn if you have a young child or one who is clumsy (like mine!) use with care!

I absolutely love these rico neckstraps. Rico also sells a padded neckstrap similar to this--even more comfort! This one is just so simple and when I forget to take off my neckstrap, this isn't bothersome. The only comparison I would make: Vandoren sells similar neckstraps and the hook is coated in some sort of rubber, which prevents the lacquer on the saxophone from scratching. If Rico added this rubber protection, it would be 100% satisfaction. But even without, this neckstrap gets a 99.9%

This has already held up for 2 years. My son is touch on products, too. Easily wearing and tearing things before their time. LOL. But this is great for the purpose and has lasted.

You cant beat the price. It doesn't slip. You have a good range of adjustment. I play tenor, c melody, and alto and it works great for allYou can throw one in each horn case and never be without..

We thought the neck strap was going to be wider. It's nice looking but doesn't offer the best comfort being so slim.

This is ok for short term use but if you are in a band and play a lot, get a better strap..this one is a little on the light side
