The padding is a little thin but other than that for the price it's hard to find anything else that isn't junk.

My son plays bass clarinet in high school. He's been using a different neck strap to help manage the weight of the instrument.We gave this sax neckstrap a shot because it was a close fit.My son reports that this one is more comfortable than his old strap. He does feel that it's a little too short for his bass clarinet's specs, but not unusable.

Overall, a nice neck strap and it fit both my alto and tenor saxophones comfortably for me. Often these straps can feel flimsy and weak.... or uncomfortable and rigid. For me, this strap felt "normal" and appears to be durable.... although I can say I have only had it for a few weeks so far. Time will better tell about the true durability, but things look good thus far.
