Exactly as it says: comfortable neoprene with very little stretch, so the instrument doesn't bounce. The sturdy metal clasp was a nice surprise for the price. The whole clasp is a bit bulky and gets in the way a bit for soprano sax, but livable with some adjustments, and it's perfect for alto and bigger (if you need to switch so quickly you can't grab a smaller strap, you're probably just as well off holding the sop). The adjustor slides just easily enough for one-handed adjustments, but feels totally secure. Highly recommended!

This is a good neck strap. I have a heavy Phil Barone Vintage tenor saxophone, and the stock neckstrap couldn't distribute the weight well enough and my neck and lower neck muscles would often hurt and feel numb after I practiced/played for hours (the horn is deliciously good sounding, by the way, it's just the neckstrap could've been better). Also the locking mechanism makes me feel much more at ease as I have had numerous instances where I almost dropped my sax because the stupid hook randomly popped off. The hook is of great quality-- metal with a rubber coating. It locks well, so you shouldn't have to worry about it becoming unhooked. The padding on the neckstrap is also very good! It also looks nice with black/dark colored horns.... if that's your thing.

This one's much sturdier and well constructed; professional and works great. Surprisingly a Lot better than all the other straps I've bought (which is most of them here on amazon). Other straps are functional and work, this one's comfortable, extremely well made, great quality covered hook, and most importantly the neck strap area is not over- nor underpadded like others. Fits perfectly, this is by far the best strap I've used; on both my altos and tenors. I use the 24" version, works perfectly.-ken

Looks well made, though time will tell.Comfortable during my initial 30 minute evaluation.I'm 6'1" and it fits me and my tenor sax well.I was surprised that the rubber hook coating slips on the hook and seemed a little awkward to unhook, but I'm going to keep this neck strap. Going to try a little super glue to secure the rubber coating since other than that I like the product and it's such a pain to shop neckstraps online. ;-)

After trying a number of different brands and types of neck straps for my tenor saxophone, I found this one to be a good match. It seems most others are geared toward student musicians. I needed something with more adjustment in length. This strap fit the bill nicely. It appears to be well made and is very comfortable. I found it has some well thought out features as well. The hook has a plastic coating on the weight bearing portion protecting the sax from unnecessary metal to metal wear while providing more than sufficient strength and support. Although I have not yet used it extensively I am satisfied it will wear well. The price also was easy on the pocket. I would recommend this to any Sax player from student to pro.

Our son plays the alto saxaphone in his middle school band. This is a nice neck strap. It is comfortable and easy to adjust. The clip is also coated so it does not scratch the instrument.

Pretty terrible, the stitching is already begging to snap after a single day of use, and the straps are arranged in such a why that the clip is forced to de sideways and dig into your chest. Uncomfortable and weak

Very comfortable, not too thick in any way, the strap stays in place (minor adjustments needed when marching). It does get warm especially when in the sun but it does not get smelly and can easily be washed anyway. The clip is fantastic!! I have been using this strap for a long time and a lot of work and it still looks and functions like it is brand new.

It's very comfortable and was better than I expected. The thickness of the cushion really supports the nape of my neck. It's much more built and comfortable than the other two neck straps I use, especially for big instruments like the Tenor and the Bari Saxophone.
