Best Strap Ever! I play Bari Sax in my school's marching band. I've tried every other saxophone strap there is, and none of them worked. I tried the alto/tenor Neotech neck strap, and my back and neck were sore every single day after practice. I tried other alto/tenor neck straps, and the same thing happened. I tried two other bari sax harness's and even the alto/tenor Neotech neck strap worked better. I tried taking the better one of those harness's and added two inches of really comfortable padding. No success; it still hurt. Then I got this one. I was at first hesitant because of its cost, but I decided to do it since nothing else had worked. My Bari was at school so I tried it on my alto, and it felt like nothing was there. It carried all the weight; immediately I knew this was a great purchase. When I tried it with my Bari during practice it didn't hurt at all. That day after practice was the first day in months that I didn't go home with a sore back and neck. The problem with the other harness's is that the weight pulls on your neck and your shoulders. 15 pounds is just too much to be weighing on your neck. This Neotech harness puts all of the weight on your shoulders which makes it very comfortable. Some people's reviews say that it is cheaply made, but that is probably just a defect in the one they bought. It is very sturdy. The clip works great. It met all my expectations. I would recommend this to anyone, and I have many times.Pros:Very comfortableSturdy clipPuts the weight on your shoulders not neckEasily adjustableEasy to put on and take offCons:None :)

I LOVE THIS SAX STRAP! This harness style saxophone strap works well for both alto and tenor sax use. It is extremely adjustable. For size reference, I should let you know that I am a size 16 plus size woman. This strap takes a lot of strain off my neck and my saxes feel so much lighter! The way the strap fits does not interfere with a woman's bustline too. The only other feature that I can mention is the plastic spring lock connector. It seems made well but I always prefer a metal connector for durability. I should probably also mention that the padded straps on the back area are very comfortable as well. I hope this helps anyone else considering this item make a good decision. I thought about getting the XL version of this item as I'm not exactly petite, but it would have been much too large. I have plenty of room to adjust this strap around me as well as adjust the height via the adjustment buckle in the very front. If you are looking to make your saxes feel lighter or take strain off your neck and upper back area, this is a fantastic strap at an unbeatable price!

Sax still tends to slide down too far. I have to make this traps as tight as they will go. I don’t know if that is going to affect the durability. But for right now it’s comfortable and it works..I have a plate in my neck, so I’m not able to use it next strap. This helps tremendously.

Way better than the traditional neck strap, saves you from strain and pain.

I bought this harness because I started playing Bari sax in church as well as in a local jazz band and I wanted something more substantial than just a neck strap. This harness has a very sturdy hook assembly that fully locks to keep the harness from coming off of the instrument (something the neotech neckstraps have a tendency to do). The shoulder pads are very comfortable and really help spread the weight out. To help customize the fit, there are three places to adjust the harness as you can see in the photo. This is a good thing because it takes a while to get used to a harness after using a neckstrap for so long. Since I mostly play sitting down I needed to make one side shorter while increasing the length of the other to accommodate the Bari being beside me. Also, keep in mind this is an extra long harness. I bought the extra long because I wanted to make sure it would be long enough, however I believe if I had bought the normal one it would have been long enough (I don't know this for a fact though). Because of the extra length I don't think I could use this for Tenor and certainly not for Alto. If you want to use a harness for tenor (personally like neckstraps for tenor and alto but it's up to the player) then you definitely need to get the normal size harness. For Bari, however, this harness is great. Overall me, and my neck, are extremely pleased with this harness.

Got this as a cheap alternative to any other harness on the market. Works great on bass sax - I haven’t even noticed its weight yet (which helps when the bass is nearly your height!). Highly recommend!

I ordered one for me, and one for my band mate I am doing a musical with and we have had 2 very different experiences!I absolutely love it! Makes wearing and standing with a tenor sax sooo much more comfortable for my short frame (5'2") and is even secure enough to let the instrument hang while I double on short passages on clarinet. The hook is a little stiff still but I assume it will loosen with time. I never thought I would want or love a harness but it is a life changer and is making rehearsals way more comfortable and less straining on my neck and shoulders. No issues with fitting around my torso or...ahem...chesty region which I had worried about with finding a harness as squishing my chest didn't seem too comfortable either! My band mate, however, is very blessed in said chesty region, and the harness does not fit her. She has tried it slung over her shoulder like a purse with some success.

Sehr empfehlenswert!
