I wanted a soft "frisbee" that wouldn't hurt my dog's mouth if she caught it on the fly. Being flexible, it doesn't "fly" as good as a solid disc might, but it can make it across my back yard (which is pretty wide - 100+ feet) on a good throw.Starting to get a bit ripped because the dog treats it like most of her toys, but she loves it and loves playing with it a lot more than the tennis ball we use otherwise. The price is right, so I'm inclined to actually get one or two more (she'll drop the one she's holding if I throw another one, so I don't have to tug-of-war with her for it, which just damages it more).Unless you want your dog to be a professional frisbee catcher, I think this is a really good choice to protect your dog's mouth and have a lot of fun.

My dog is an aggressive chewer who enjoys playing catch 3 times per day. I've tried several different discs and found Nerf Dog to be the best. It's soft so it doesn't hurt her gums or mouth. It's durable so it doesn't fall apart when chewed. It will develop puncture holes from her teeth but does not tear or rip apart. It doesn't fly the greatest at first, but we found the more my dog plays with the disc the BETTER it flies. The inner ring repositions due to centrifugal force causing it to self balance with use. Kudos, Nerf for developing my doggie's favorite toy.

Hubs and I started training one of our dogs to catch frisbee type discs. We bought these discs because they were smaller, light weight and flexible. They are all those things. We discovered though, that if your dog is a chewer it can destroy these discs. The cloth covering is not durable enough to withstand a dog who really grips it and won't give it back. But, they work well to get the dog used to catching them and they don't hurt the mouth or teeth. These are much better for training than an actual hard frisbee.

These are terrific! So they won't last forever... they are ONLY $6! ( most of the time ) . Tux has gone through at least 2 dozen of these. They are very easy to throw and catch. They are also very easy on teeth and gums... and walls and furniture. Sometimes they lasts a few days (left unattended) sometimes in a couple weeks or more. Tux likes to skate these through the house or in the grass and through the mud. We play tug-o-war with them too. You can get them to fly slow for indoor play and they are very light and easy to through. They work great outside, too. They are easy to fold & put in your pocket .... easy for walking to the park or stashing quickly and getting back on leash when Animal Control is coming around to ruin day. Tux, our Border Collie is now 2 years old & has gone through somewhere between 75 to 100 frisbees, and these are in our top 5. Chuck-it are the favorite my wife, son & Tux. These last much longer, though & they don't leave pieces or fibers all over the house. They also absorb he least amount of dog slobber of the soft nylon frisbees. The Original Flippy Flopper or Soft bite or Hyper pet family are outstanding, too. For price vs. performance they are my favorite... plus I like it that they come in 3 colors. Tux knows each by name, so we can mix that up in our play sessions, too.

These frisbees are so fun for dogs but if you have a larger dog or one that is an aggressive chewer, probably won't last long. It does throw far and is light.

My dog loves this frisbee. I got him 3 just in case they broke easily. And he’s still on his first one and I got them a couple months ago. So they hold up really well

Very Very poor quality material. Came part in less that 2 minutes of play , including the inner plastic braking into small pieces and had to be taken out of the dogs mouth. It might be fine for small puppies but not medium or large dogs. The dog I have is a medium Golden Doodle.

my dog loves this frisbee. So do i as it flies well in light or no wind, great distance, and hovers long enough for my dog to catch up and catch it out of the air.Its been used daily for couple months, and a popular play toy even with other dogs mine socializes with who like to play Keep Away.I rinse mine daily in a laundry tub before next use. I rinse all his toys daily and carry a backpack to the park with varies toys.Don't recommend this for windy days, but in a light or no wind wind, works awesome.I have a second heavier rubber composite frisbee for heavier breeze, and ball thrower for variation.

This flyer needs vast open space because it really does FLY! A great way to exercise doggie, take care to mark the wind direction. My NERF ended up on the school yard and then in the river. Great fun.

Soft on the dogs mouth but does not fly as well as the larger version of this product.
