I bought 7 of these for my Anatomy class as a hands-on experience to help them learn how the bones work and how they come together etc. This worked wonders with my Kinesthetic kids. Truly. I have a student who can never remember anything, and just putting this togetgher and saying the names got him 100% on the test. I'm impressedNow on to the bad parts - The skulls don't really like to stay togehter When they are handled. The Zygomatic processes and Nasal Conchas fall out which is a little annoying. Also some of the bones are fused - for example, the zygomatic and the maxilla are not separate pieces which is a bummer. That would have been a lot more anatomically accurate. And you could have fused the zygomatic and temporalzygomatic process so that it doesn't fall out so easily since those are part of the same bone. It looks like someone looked at a skull model, but really didn't know that much about the skull bones in general.Dont let that scare you though - this was a VERY useful addition to my classroom, and they are easy enought to put together if you know where things go if your students cannot.

It's really nice just don't play toss with it, if you miss it the pieces explode of and go everywhere ( like a water balloon).
