Easy install, had to cut the wire but no splicing of any kind. Just wrap around and tie a knot. Works great!

Not certain what happened here With this new install on the frame neck of a new KTM. Clearly a problem with the materials used to manufacture this hour meter. Mounted to Hardline Products aluminum mount with supplied adhesive tape behind and did not over-tighten screws. This is a new design hour meter. Perhaps an inherent issue???Update 3/25/2021- Seller followed up (twice) and was helpful in describing his mounting methods at a KTM dealership. I used the double sided tape (provided by mount mfgr) beneath the orange anodized mounting plate seen in the photo. However I did not used the double sided tape (provided with KTM meter) beneath the KTM meter while affixing the meter to the plate. Perhaps this is the root cause of what appears to be vibration failure around the screw holes. Bottom line, return/refund was easy and seller was professional and kind.I would definitely purchase from seller again.
