My previous battery hadn't been able to hold a charge, so had it plugged in all the time. Eventually, installed battery wouldn't even allow startup while plugged in. Ordered this battery, great price, easy to install, and so far, charges nice, holds a charge well. I believe best for battery health is to charge to 100%, then unplug and allow to drain to around 15%, then charge up again, on a consistent basis.

It worked great when first installed. I purchased from Amazon on June 30, 2023 and on April 23 it died and will no longer charge. I have to run my laptop on power cord until I can get a replacement. Warranty was for a year. Contacted company and they are in the process of replacing the warrantied battery.Received new battery from TSkyBear on May 9 per warranty. Very pleased with this company’s customer service.

I bought this battery for my HP 15-bw0xx laptop and I am so glad that I did. Over quarentine I stupidly kept my laptop plugged in all day and that significantly degraded the battery. My old battery had less than 55% remaining so I thought I'd take the leap and try this one for $30 instead of buying a brand new laptop. I am very glad that I did. The battery was easy to install (I recommend using sites like IFIXIT to get specific instructions) and now my new laptop is working perfectly. The battery came a little more than 50% charged and it has a battery life of more than 100% (see pic)...not even sure how that's possible but I'll take it. I recommend downloading BatteryInfoView for free so you always know your battery health because I personally think HP's Hardware Diagnostic is not at all helpful for battery checks. If your battery sucks like mine did, buy this one. You will not be disappointed.

Lasted for about a year. Didnt unplug every time it was 100% though but original battery lasted 4 years and this one with the same usage.
