Great product, these glass jars clean-up much easier than plastic jar "look-alikes" and don't get brittle or discolored in time. The three, wide slots on the lid are the perfect size for sprinkling Dulse seaweed flakes while cooking and at the table. Buying them by the dozen makes them economical to use.

This is a simple product with a simple purpose. It does it well.I bought this over similar products for two reasons. First, value. There are a dozen shakers for the same price as 3-4 with other products. Second, constructions. My old shakers were chrome-plated steel. Surprise surprise, the plating flakes off after months or years of use and it starts rusting. I went to replace them, and some products still have coated steel instead of stainless. Stick with stainless. Stainless steel will outlive me.Cleaning is a tiny hassle. I put the glass part in the top rack of the dishwasher, but the lids are too light and flip over and partially fill with soapy water. So I just hand wash them. I don't think there is a way to avoid this issue, as the lids are going to be very light no matter what. That is not enough to remove a star, just something to be aware of.Now I have a whole bunch of extra shakers I don't need. I guess backup in case I break one?

I wanted a single jar with large slots to keep a seasoning on the table. It's also great for any grated cheese. For the price, this was a much better deal per jar than the others, so we bought the pack of 12 and gave the rest to family & friends.

These are great. They all came free of damage and are nice for the price. I purchased them for convenience stores that a manage to place next to our pizza ovens. They appear sturdy and have held up well in the last month. I am very pleased.
