Our shower drain always gets clogged after a few months despite our best efforts to use a hair catcher. Instead of using a harsh chemical drain cleaner, or boiling hot water, which were never that effective, I decided to buy this hair drain snake. I will spare you the gross photos of what I pulled out from the drain but the shower water goes down so easily now! It was easy to use and the cord is the perfect length to get clogs that are deeply imbedded into your pipes.

The metal mechanism is too big to fit in my bathroom sink drain. But the orange barbed gizmo works well. It comes with a pair of gloves. Metal part might fit in tub drain. I have not tried that.
