I switched to the pistol grip cutter after hearing that they are easier on the hands, and I'm quite pleased with this version. You can clearly see the oil level, so I know when it needs refilled. Refilling is easy as the brass cap screws right off. I find this grip requires less force and less stress on my fingers than a straight pen style grip. I appreciate the spare pipette as well.

I am pretty handy and found this cutter to be great for cutting glass up to 12 inches in length. I had poor success for cutting longer pieces. It was most likely my set up area was poor for cutting longer pieces. I had to go to a glass cutter for the longer cuts that I needed.

Was looking for a cutter for making stained glass projects and went with this one. Big mistake. Cutter head will not tighten down so it is hard to get a straight cut. The oil reservoir leaks oil everywhere and the pipette was not included. Spend a little more $ and get a better cutter.

I have used many different types of glass cutters and this is the worst ever. One of the blades was missing a set screw was the first thing I noticed. I added some cutting glass oil and as soon as I turned the cutter down to the glass the oil all drained out through the blade. Tried cutting glass and it would hardly score any glass I tried it on. It very well could be I just got a bad one and the rest are great, have no idea. I just know I will never buy one of these leaky dull pieces of crap.

Comfortable to use and good sharp cutting tip. Oil leaks way too fast and leaves a mess if used as intended so I just dip the tip in a small lid with oil as I go now.

Don't know what else to say. Tried to use this on some thin glass we had to score it so we could cut it easily, and this thing didn't even scratch it, let alone make a decent score for us to use for cutting. Unfortunate.

It came faster than I expected. I like the look of it and expect it will be wonderful. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet.

Not very pleased with this glass cutter it leaks out of the bottom the oil so won't be using this one very much.
