I wanted this pasta machine to work for for me. It will make three different pasta sizes without a change of rollers.I am currently using individual roller cartridges powered by my mixer -- which is over 40 years old. It was purchased third hand in Kuwait in 1979 and is a different story. I am afraid I will burn out its motor with heavy pasta making.The Newtry machine has a significant design flaw. The main rollers that roll out the basic pasta sheets are over the motor. There is no free-fall under those rollers. You have to stick your fingers - out of sight sight -next to the turning rollers to direct the pasta sheets away from the motor housing. if you miss or only catch an edge of the pasta sheeet, the pasta folds over itself and you have to start over. Please see picture.The machine has a deflector which doesn't work. Pasta catches on its smooth surface and produces folded pasta. Manually directing the pasta away from the motor housing is the only way I see to use the machine.I tried three different batches of pasta over two weeks but found rolling out the basic pasta sheets to be frustrating.It is also very noisy.I have returned the machine.

I had an order of Newtry pasta machine in Sept. 2023. Today 12/9/2023 when I turned the machine power switch on after I have used it for a few minutes, there was no response. I thought it was the connection issue. I checked the connection and I tried many power outlets, nothing happened on the machine. Something was wrong. This machine I used less than half year. two days later the machine woke up after we turn on the switch several times.After I contacted after sale service, I received quick replies. They sent me some helpful videos to check the power switch. They are also willing to send me a new one. I am happy with their after sale service.

I am in love with this machine! There was an unfortunate damage issue at first that the company promptly resolved. I am 100% satisfied with the company, my extremely attentive customer service representative (thank you, Cassie), and especially with the product. I have used my electric pasta roller several times weekly, and it performs perfectly. I’ve made spaghetti, fettuccine, lasagna, and wide egg noodles. I love it’s versatility! Thank you, Newtry.

The pasta roller is easy to use. Unfortunately it makes loud noises when you use the roller side. Also it sometimes leaves small flakes of metal on your pasta and you need to be observant to remove this from your noodles.
