I started off thinking I would buy a folding poker table, but storage space and the fact that I don't really need it very often kinda turned me off from that idea. Then I looked at the folding poker table toppers. I like those because they also tend to come with padded rails, but my concern was about the creases on the playing surface from the folds. Even in the product pictures the creases look like they would be troublesome to poker play.And then I stumbled onto this product - the table top poker mat - and the Newverest product in particular. For the record, I was not incentivized in any way for this review. Nor do I know anyone who is in any way associated with the company who makes this thing. I'm just a regular ol' consumer giving my unbiased thoughts after first opening it up.The first thing I noticed when I opened the box and pulled out the product was that nothing about it feels cheap or half-hearted. Even the storage bag it comes in seems well thought out and appears to be made with quality.But my biggest concern about a rolled-up product was that it wouldn't lay flat. Or that it would require manipulation to get it to lay flat. Please hear me when I say this: That was NOT the case for me with this product. The mat rolled out easily onto my dining room table and immediately went completely flat. No little edges popping up or anything. The mat is not lightweight foam with a cover on it. That's not to say it is particularly heavy, I just mean that it feels substantial and has the right amount of heft to it that causes it to lay down and stay put. Well the stay put part is aided by whatever the grippy material is on the back. It's not sticky like it's going to leave traces on the table, it's just appropriately grippy. It feels like it will stay exactly where I put it on the table while people are moving cards and chips and elbows around on it.Nothing about this thing, including the design graphics on it, feel cheap or phoned-in. The poker hands cards and the coasters are a very nice and welcome addition to this set as well. I'm excited for the first poker night using this. Would it be nice to have a fancy dedicated poker table to play on? Absolutely!! But since I don't have the space for one, and I don't play often enough to justify the expense, this relatively inexpensive mat is a very nice compromise!

I had a poker table but only played a few times a year. Storing the poker table was a pain. This is a great option and comes with a storage bag. Nice product and fits in a closet. Good value!

The stitching is well done, it laid flat right out of the package. There are no odors, the coasters are a nice touch, and the cheat cards are helpful for friends new to poker. Super easy to wipe clean, size is perfect for up to 10 players. Looks great and functional for other projects too. Great deal!

This is a nice mat, but the text and card "slots" in the middle are dumb. It doesn't help, and looks weird if you are playing anything else. If it just had the oval in the middle this would be so much nicer.But the quality is nice, and plays really well. I have used it 4-5 times and it seems fairly durable.

This seemed like a great mat. However, I returned it, because I realized that...a mat is entirely unnecessary. The top of my kitchen table works great without a mat on it, so figured I'd save the $ and return it.But if your table needs a mat to play poker on, this is a great one!

This poker mat exceeded my expectations. This is the best and most classy mat iv seen, the added extras (coasters, carry bag, and rank cards) are a nice touch. The stitching on the outside shows added attention to detail over others Iv seen which are just cut. Good job newverest!P.S. I like to throw poker games under a black light and it looks sweet as shown in these pics that really don’t do it justice. 😎
