Replaced the duo valve in my 7-series due to NO-HEAT in the cabin. The replacement was straight forward....no issues. I would recommend stuffing a towel in the engine compartment just between the duo valve and the valve cover to catch the minimal antifreeze that will leak out when you replace it. Keep the hoses pointed up once you disconnect them (one at a time), and you shouldn't loose much coolant.......maybe a couple ounces.Turned car on to accessory position to bleed the little bit of air I let into the system. Once done, turned car on, and almost instant heat once again!Will evaluate more throughout this winter (in southern VA) and see how it holds up. So far so good though.

I actually had not had decent heat in my car for over two years...but I live in California and heat was never really needed. Then my A/C took a crapper and I figured I would fix both. Tonight I changed out this out and took a spin to the local store for drive and was totally satisfied that I had heat when I wanted it to my feet. Then I started thinking back to when I bought the car...2014ish and realized this is better heat then when I bought the car so the valve was going faulty for some time. totally stratified with the part.

This part last 2 days on my car then started to allow water to pass when on or off and the part was so hot even when car was off
