I am so glad I bought this product. My coffee would always get cold before I was able to drink it. I thought I would give this product a try. At first I thought the mug was a little too heavy but I got used to it really quickly. I like the 3 temperature presets. I can finish a whole cup of hot coffee. I usually keep the mug on the chargerbut I have used it without the charger and it works great. The instructions says to hand wash the mug, which is not a problem for me because I have always hand washed my coffee mug. And I don't know if this mug has a sensor in it because if the mug is empty, it will turn itself off. I would recommend this product to to anyone,especially to those who like to like to take their time enjoying their hot drinks

Bought the Ember Mug first. It worked hoid except the app was worthless so you could not control temperature!Then discovered NextMug from Freakin’ Reviews, and it is way better!! No app to download. Control temp on the mug. Keeps heat for a couple of hours and recharges quickly. Comfortable to use, as well as great looking.

Works as described. And no phone app required. washes easily - matt finished metal is nice to the touch. Gave 2 as gifts to others who really like them too.

Wow! So impressed with this cup!! Usually I re-microwave my coffee 3 times before I finish the cup and each time the coffee older and stronger. With Nextmug my coffee is always hot and fresh tasting! Even if left sitting a few hours I reheat it on piping hot setting and the taste is fresh!! Worth the money for the satisfaction you get! Recommend Highly!

Am updating my review. this darned mug just will NOT stay on. I have had it for two months now and it is constantly turning off. Now it has gone from turning itself off once per cup cycle to turning itself off several times per cycle. It is fully charged yet when I pour a cup and turn it to medium heat, in fifteen seconds it turns off. I turn it on again. It turns off. I can no longer recommend that anyone buy one of these cups. its just a bad design. The Ember on the other hand hs working perfectly as designed. Pour a cup, it heats to my preset temperature and stays there. I am considering throwing this nextmug away as its just not functionsl. I bought two electronic mugs from two manufacturers. Ember and Nextmug. I like both of them but they each have their issues.The Ember requires the app but once you get it set it just repeats the last temperature with no input. It automatically recognizes when it has new coffee by the temperature change and it then goes to the set temperature. My only issue with it is it does not hold the 10 oz coffee plus creamer that is my usual morning cup. I end up making the coffee in a dumb cup and then pouring it into the ember over time.The NextMug has the advantage that is is larger and easily holds my morning cup. It has a single button control that works ok. I find I am searching for the black button in the black ring on the bottom of the cup because the tactile feel is poor. The low setting is too cold for me and the medium setting is a bit hot and I can't adjust it. The biggest negative is that the NextMug ALWAYS turns itself off twice. I set the temperature on a cold cup, then pour in the coffee and after a couple of minutes take a sip and its cold because the cup turned itself off. then I have to fumble with finding the button that is ergonomically poorly designed and turn it to the second setting again. Invariably after a few minutes of heating, it will turn itself off again. Generally, by the third cycle, it stays on. It is just less than good.I will keep both cups and will use them because in spite of their issues they do a good job. But I wish the NextMug stayed on and had a better button and I wish the ember was larger.

This is a good product. It keeps coffee warm for as long as it’s on the charging base. Also the mug holds more than other brands that I’ve researched. The cons (hence the 4 Stars) : If you take the cup off of the charging base, the charge (and heat) lasts about 15 (or less) minutes. Once the charge runs out, the coffee is cold almost instantly. The mug has no thermal properties. When the mug gets cold, the metallic material that the mug is made from is unappealing (metal taste and feel) and cold to the lips.

I am so overly impressed. Best gift I have ever bought myself. It is quality from the packaging on. It keeps my coffee hot through the whole cup. I looked at other brands but didn’t want to deal with apps and such. This is just very easy and works better than I could ever have hoped for. Push the button and then enjoy a wonderful HOT cup of coffee to the last drop! I have never even come close to running out of battery life. Will buy again for others

I bought this for someone who loves there coffee as hot as it comes .... they said the max temp. Is ...... just TO HOT! WINNING! This is the person who gets a fresh pot of boiling coffee , pours a cup and immediately puts it in the microwave to .... heat it up more? Until lava and java beans unight , this is the answer to the need for 3rd degree burns from your mouth to your ........

Schöne Form und Farbe. Mit 510 ml tolles Volumen, Gewicht okay. Einfache und intuitive Bedienung (für das Ausschalten muss man allerdings immer durch das ganze Menü, LED-Anzeigen etwas tief und schlecht einsehbar positioniert). Ladevorgang dauert recht lang, der Akku ist recht schnell leer. Lange Lieferzeit. Wird leider nur mit US-Netzstecker geliefert, sodass ein Adapter erforderlich ist.

This was a Christmas present to me and I thought it would be just a novelty but I was really surprised! I'm using it all the time and enjoying a nice mug of hot tea at a consistent temperature from beginning to end. This is so much better than just a mug warmer where the mug has to stay on the base. I can go from one end of the house to the other with my mug staying warm wherever I am.
