Didn't even understand why this product exists except to trick people into buying it. After doing more research - the firewire standard and usb are incompatible. No devices have drivers to support this cable and even if they did, USB 2.0 is too slow to support firewire transfer rates. Do not buy this product! Don't be like me! Read the comments first! There is no reality in which this cable works. It's a scam product.If you want the right answer, buy a firewire capture card, install it on your PC, and use a firewire to firewire connection cable.
