If you drill a hole in each flange big enough for a zip tie, you can snug the guard down nice and tight to the pipe. I've been on a few rides since installation, and it hasn't caught on any brush. Other reviewers say this is crap, but with a little modding, you got a solid guard at 1/5 the cost of a carbon fiber guard! And I think these armadillos look badass!

Do not buy. I have tested many pipe guards to use for hard Enduro and this is by far the worst. Last week and I destroyed my nice pipe guard so I had to get a temporary one before my new one comes in, so I got this cheap alternative. I just put it on the bike and doesn’t even sit flat against the pipe and is flimsy or than plastic. It’s almost like it’s pure silicone rubber. Discard well get ruined if a rock slides up and hit it. Just spend the extra money, and get a nice one.

Buy the Armadillo. I have both and the Armadillo is 3 times stonger. This one broke two tabs off just forming it to the pipe
