A: The way to prevent this from happening is with the cylinder saver.
Protect the junction between the exhaust and the cylinder, creating and reinforcing a compact protection in case of impact on the exhaust.

Installation was easy and the holes lined up unlike a more expensive version from another company that I had to return because of poor manufacturing.

Really nice knock-off for a fraction of the price of the Austrian piece.Installed on my 2020 TPI with no drama.Delivered in a reasonable time too.One tip, I put this on during a front tire change. The added access was really nice compared to a similar install on my previous bike.Four stars because it works 100% but is a knock-off of someone else's design.
