This starter is a perfect fit replacement for the original. Easy to replace and works great. Much cheaper than I was quoted by the parts department at the ATV dealer .

This worked out exceptionally well as it does what it should! Before install make sure you adjust the cable connector bloc to the proper alignment prior to install, or you will be removing it to adjust it! Great starter, and thank you for the expedited delivery service!

I installed this starter and it fit perfectly on my 2006 Honda 420 rancher the old starter the magnets let go and seized it up solid and this one works perfectly

The fit and finish seems very good. It seems to work extremely well. The only minor negative thing was the power boot would not go on as the plastic isolator that the boot connects to was turned down instead of sideways.

Fit my bike 2008 Honda 420FM perfect. Remove the air box and it’s right there easy to get at. Tip if not sure what problem is run a test light to the cable on the starter. If it lights up when you hit the switch to start it you have a bad starter. Honda wants almost $500 for a new one. This one is a fraction of that and works great
