Your cart is empty.Pure copper strip, plated with pure nickel. It can be soldered or spot welded, depending on the power of your spot welder. It has much less resistance than pure nickel strip due to its copper core. Suitable for ultra high current applications where nickel strip is not good enough. The copper can be seen through the edge of the strip, so it should not be used in applications where the copper could be exposed to salt water or other chemicals known to react with copper. It may be difficult to spot weld this material without specialized know-how or equipment.

Got this for spotwelding the first and last rows of some battery packs, but it can't be spotwelded. Refuses to stick to nickel. Had to solder it, which is much less fun. This isn't a product issue though, it's just because it is copper.

I've learned to use it. Takes a strong spot welder to get through it but it welds to nickel plated steel easiest. It's a good product and I like it but it's not going to be for everyone. Measures .10mm thick, not .15mm

Would burn copper inside but not spot weld to battery. Still useful to solder to spot welded nickel tabs.

If you use a battery operated spot welder this will not stick, requires pure nickel

Is a great product to use for diy batteries with a high discharge rate just make sure you have a stong spot welder that can handle the job

The product came on time. Did a resistance test, numbers were in ballpark. Unfortunately, my Spot welder will not get through the copper, so this will be for soldering.
