This is definitely a high quality wire. What’s good about it is that it’s versatile. I’ve used it for jewelry making and for gardening. I even made some into a spiral shape to place in the garden as well and it helps my plants grow nicely. It’s so easy to use too! I do wish there was a lot more than what it has in the roll. My only complaint is it’s not a whole lot of wire and I needed more after just a few uses. I mean like three times then it was gone. It’s a great value for the money though.If you maje jewelry or garden then this is something you’ll want to keep in hand usually and I definitely recommend it!

This wire is pretty thin, which is nice for small, detailed projects. I’m thinking I want to make some sculptures out of it or some jewelry. This wire is great for fixing things as well as for being an outlet for creativity. I think that it’s good to have some wire in your home just in case.

As far as I know, there isn't much to say about wire, quality-wise. Either it's as advertised, or it isn't. And this certainly seems to be what it claims.What is subjective is the spool. At 26 gauge, there isn't a lot of wire volume here, and the spool is appropriately small. I wouldn't really mind if the spool was a bit larger, even, but I've received spools in the past with an unnecessarily large diameter, making them more difficult to store. This one will fit just about anywhere! The spool is made of plastic, but it's still sturdy. Importantly, it has a hole to put the free end of the wire through to hold it in place. I hate when there isn't a hole or a notch! This isn't important to everyone, but I find it quite useful.

This is bare copper, not coated and not gold-colored aluminum wire. It is 24 gauge so not designed to perform under heavy loads. It is great for wire wrapping or in my case dangling beads or making decorative touches such as insect antenna for stained glass. It accepts solder well (see end of coil in picture), coils easily, holds it shape well, yet is durable and smooths out easily if you are not happy with your design. I found it easy to work with and perfect for my stained glass needs. Very happy with the properties of this wire.Note: You buy by the yard. The spool 30 yards comes on can hold more, but I imagine it is a cost savings for a company to use the same size spool for various gauges and lengths; which also saves the customer money. Various wire gauges or lengths will fill the spool with more or less product. Just because the spool is not full does not mean you did not get your 30 yards.
