Lighter than expected. Used several times with the Nikon Z8 + Nikon AF-S 200-500mm (which is quite heavy) without any issues. As far as I can tell, no loss of functionality or image quality.

Not much to say besides that this adapter lives up to the quality standard I expect from Nikon. It has a solid build, flawless action, and an impressive looking(and feeling) finish. This adapter has single-handedly resurrected our old, F mount Nikon lenses. Brilliant product!For reference I use the Nikon FTZ2 adapter on my Nikon z6ii and z50 camera bodies.

This converter or adaptor allows you to use many of the Nikon lenses not designed for use on Z series mirrorless camera. There are limitations however. Those limitations are readily available on the Internet product reviews. It works best using Nikon AF-S or AF-P lenses as it communicates perfectly with the mirrorless Z cameras. With any other lens you may lose auto-focus ability and possibly other features. Research your lenses before buying it. I have several AF-S lenses that work perfectly with my Zf camera making this a worthwhile buy.

Works perfectly with Nikon f-mount lenses, as well as third party (Sigma and Tamron) f-mount lenses. No issues with auto focus or other lense functions. I would recommend.

The build quality is extremely nice and it looks great on the Z5 and works flawlessly. But be advised that, if you use NIKON DX LENSES, your image size when projected onto the full frame sensor of a Nikon Z5 will be cropped. (Again for clarity purposes, I’m referring specifically to using this adapter to mount Nikon DX lenses to a Nikon Z5 camera body.) And I knew there would be some cropping. But I figured I could save a little (a lot) of money using my DX lenses from my D5600. But cropping down to 10 megapixels is just excessive and really negates the use of a full frame mirrorless camera in my opinion. Using this with FX lenses would not cause any cropping. So if you have FX lenses then you are going to be able to save some money and have no cropping of your image on the Nikon Z5. But if you don’t already own Nikon FX lenses then, in my opinion, I would buy Nikon Z series lenses as you can as the quality of these lenses is outstanding. (And to respond to another reviewer, this adapter, when used, as specifically stated, with Nikon DX lenses on a Nikon Z5 camera body most assuredly, without playing word games, will cause the overall end image on your full frame Nikon Z5 sensor to be cropped.)

This is a great way to use my lenses on my mirror less camera. All my Nikon lenses work but my Tameron does not work well with the adapter.

Indispensable si vous possédez des « cailloux » anciens ou plus récents achetés à prix d’or. À ma connaissance, il n’y a pas d’altération de la qualité d’image. En tout cas je n’ai rien trouvé sur Internet qui montre le contraire. Le produit est tout de même assez cher surtout pour un produit aussi indispensable, mais comme il permet éventuellement d’économiser le prix d’achat d’objectifs à monture Z, cela en fait un achat raisonnable. Les objectifs Z restent néanmoins de très bons produits tant sur le plan de la qualité optique, que sur celui de la rapidité et de la précision de l’AF. Ils sont aussi plus léger que leurs équivalents. Particulièrement lorsqu’il s’agit de F/2.8.

Detta Nikon adapter är kompatibelt med alla mina Nikon objektiv med F-fattning, oavsett om det är Nikon, Sigma eller Tamron, alla passar fullt ut på Z-seriens kamerahus.Jag är verkligen glad för att Nikon har utvecklat den så bra. Och den ger mig även ökad ergonomi när jag fotograferar vertikalt då det blir större mellanrum för mina stora fingrar mellan kamerahus och objektiv.Utmärkt produkt!
