Been using my Canon m200 for months with the provided lens. When shopping for lenses, they were significantly more expensive then the regular EFS Lenses I already had for my T5. I saw this adapter to be the conversion piece, purchased it, and it worked. Now I can use the lenses I already had, which are crystal clear. Out of box, it required a twist and lock in place just like a regular lens. The auto focus on the m200 is quick, and this adapter does indeed communicate with all my EFS lens and auto focuses near instantly. It is solid and feels rugged. I am happy with this purchase she recommend it for the m200.

I know, I know...it's pretty lame that I spend thousands of dollars on bodies and glass, but want to save a few bucks on the F to Z adapter? Yeah, I just like to say that I'm putting that savings towards more lenses.Anyway, this adapter works flawlessly and I am impressed! I have tons of F glass but just went mirrorless and am slowly replacing my older lenses with Z mounts, but until then, this adapter is superbly handy! It adds length for sure, and makes shorter mirrorless body profiles as thick as DSLRs but I've had nothing but success with all my F glass.My only gripe is the tripod/monopod foot on the bottom. I wish it weren't there. It seems like a superfluous addition and that is probably why Nikon made the FTZ II without it. It gets in my way ONLY when removing it from my Z50 body because I have a Peak Design Clutch camera strap that attaches to the camera tripod hole mount that doubles as a Capture Clip mount, that triples as a tripod/monopod base mount. Turning the F to Z mount to attach hits the Clutch mount, necessitating its removal before attaching the adapter. It's not THAT big of a deal, but it means having to find a coin or Allen wrench to loosen the plate to get the adapter on the camera. Sure, once it's on I can just leave it there, right? Change only the F mount lens since I have so many, right? Yeah, well I also have a Fringer Canon EF to Z mount that I often use because I inherited a bunch of fantastic Canon glass (L lenses too) that I will often swap on when shooting sports. What a problem to have, right? Yeah, I have a D5600 that I can use, but I love the mirrorless, and would rather use that for everything. Total first world problems. And I know I should just buy the FTZ II, but I keep telling myself that I can replace a lens for the price of that adapter (well maybe after I SELL a lens too) so it's just more of the same.I'm sure no one needed to read this entire blog post just to find out that this product is excellent. AF is superb. I actually think that my F glass performs better on the Z50 than it does on the D5600. Highly recommended. Excellent value.

When I first bought this product I was upset because it wasn’t working with my Z6. My camera kept making a weird sound and saying error each time that I tried making it work! So for hours I kept trying to update the firmware on the adapter thinking that would fix the problem. Come to find out, my z6 wasn’t fully up to date on firmware! The moment that I updated my camera, this adapter worked perfectly fine! The autofocus is good and not noisy, and it’s pretty quick! I tested out both my sigma 35mm 1.4 art lens and my sigma 70-200 and both worked smoothly without any issues. So yes if you’re not wishing to spend $250 for an adapter after already burning a hole through your wallet with buying a camera body, this is the adapter for you.

I’ve really only had this adapter out in the field once, otherwise I’ve shot from my office or backyard. However, after going birding with it on a relatively hot day, the logos are all blurred and fading (pics 1 & 2). I assume they’ll be entirely gone in no time. Is this normal? Should it be happening on a product I’ve had for a month and a half and only really used for any period of time once?That aside, it’s an excellent product and I haven’t noticed any increase in focus time or decrease in photo quality. Also, it can support a pretty huge, heavy lens with no issues, which is amazing (pics 3 & 4).Great build, stability, overall quality, so I gave it 5 stars. However, I’d love to know if the paint/logos on mine are defective or something 🤷ðŸ»â€â™‚ï¸

For what this is and what it does the price is perfect. I have never had a lens fail to talk or had any autofocus issues. I have been shooting on my M50 with the f1.8 50mm EF and 55-250mm EF-S for just about 2 years and only have had 1 problem.On to the negative. The screws on this thing come loose. Loose enough the whole lens can move causing issues like weird softness. If you don't mind checking the screws from time to time or putting some locktight on them it isn't an issue. I definitely recommend the adapter, but just be aware of the screw issue.

I havent had time to use this as much as I would like but for the times I've used it I cant complain. This adaptor fits nice and tight on my M50 Canon it's easy to remove when I need to. Now I can use my other lenses with this Camera Thanks a lot

I bought this adapter for my new M50 hoping to use some of my lenses from my Canon SL1.The adapter works fine and the autofocus was just fine. BUT when shooting towards the sun and other light sources, a reflection was cast off the inside of the adapter creating a haze, as you can see in the photos I've included.Since I had just bought the camera -- used --- I thought something was wrong with the actual camera. Luckily, I was eventually able to sleuth it out and determine it was the material used inside the adapter reflecting light on to the sensor.I suppose I could have bought some lenshoods, which may have solved the problem, but I never felt the need to use them before with my Canon SL1 and I didn't want to deal with this issue going forward. So, I just went ahead an bit the bullet and bought the more expensive canon adapter instead. Now, everything works great.
