Night shift nurse here! I work in a place where the thermometers all like to play hide and seek, and damn they’re good at it! I really needed my own fast and accurate thermometer and decided to get a temporal no touch one so I could take temps without waking up my patients. Silly me, I didn’t think to check wirecutter’s reviews first and bought one that had good reviews, but it started never reading above 97.9 degrees. When I checked out Wirecutter, they listed this and two other brands that are exactly the same and stated to buy whichever was cheapest. Well this was cheapest. I’ve been using it a couple months now, even dropped it once, and it still reads consistent and close to the oral temp. It will never be the same, but it correlates. Definitely recommend for accuracy, ease, and durability. Using this at work, I really appreciate the ability to recall more than just the most recent reading. I’ve been known to look at the same temp 4 times before remembering what I saw! It has a good battery life so far too!

We just received our order today, and it's awesome! The device is quite small in comparison to larger devices I have seen in the past. It came with 2x AAA batteries(Which actually worked!), and an instruction manual. Putting the batteries in was the only tricky part and that's just because I wasn't looking at the battery compartment to see the very obvious + and - printed there! From then on, it's point toward the forehead from ~2 inches away and click the little trigger. Up to 99.1F is GREEN, and at 100.6F or above, it will light up RED.This order was very reasonably priced, shipped and received promptly, and looks and operates just as advertised. We are very happy with every part of the ordering process (as well as the seller), and intend to use this device at our local Judo dojo when everything opens back up as part of a multi-tiered plan to operate as safely as possible once the heightened COVID issues have begun to recede. After alot of research and several failed attempts to find a decent no touch thermometer we finally found this Mobi it is by far the most accurate no touch. Definately recomemd

I purchased this thermometer to use on my newborn who would fuss with trying to use our ear thermometer. We’ve been using for one month to check her temp and luckily she’s had zero fevers. However, my eldest daughter was sent home from school with a fever yesterday-our ear and under the tongue has been reading identical temperatures but this one keeps reading in the green (normal) range. This product does not work and is unreliable. Would return but outside of window.

They wanted $56 for this at a grocery store near me. $35 at a box box store. The price at Amazon was half that, delivered the next day. This is easy to use and accurate. Build quality is great.

I was needing to take temperature often during an illness and this was quick, easy, and accurate. It usually matched what the doctor office tools registered. Gave them as gifts to rest of my family so they would have the ease of monitoring temperature when sick.
