NA-FH1 header

The NA-FH1 is a high-quality, smartly-protected 8 channel PWM fan hub that allows up to eight PWM fans to be run and controlled simultaneously via a single PWM motherboard fan header or stand-alone controllers such as the optional NA-FC1. Non-PWM fans can be controlled by adjusting the input voltage. Supporting both 12V and 5V fans with 4-pin PWM and 3-pin connectors, the NA-FH1 is highly flexible and suitable both for PC environments and other 12V- or 5V-based applications. It can be powered either via its S-ATA input (for 12V fans, up to 54W) or 4-pin PWM input (for 5V and 12V fans, up to 24W), both of which are protected against overcurrent with a self-resetting fuse for maximum safety even in case of short-circuits on the connected devices or cables. The two ports can also be used concurrently with the device, automatically taking power via S-ATA and exchanging RPM and PWM signals via the 4-pin interface. Status LEDs allow for easy monitoring and thanks to its magnetic fixture, installing the NA-FH1 inside a PC case or on any other steel surface is a breeze. Topped off with CE, UKCA and UL certifications and full compliance with all applicable safety standards, the NA-FH1 is a safe, dependable premium choice for powering and controlling up to eight fans.

Up to 54W via S-ATA and 24W via 4-pin

When powered via it’s S-ATA interface (for 12V fans only), the NA-FH1 can run fans with a combined power draw of up to 54W. When using the 4-pin PWM input only (for 5V or 12V fans), the maximum power draw can go as high as 24W.

Caution: Do not place directly on hard disk drives, keep at least 5cm distance. When powering via the 4-pin input from a PC motherboard, please check your motherboard manual for the maximum current of the fan header and make sure not to exceed it.

Controlling high-power fans safely

If both its S-ATA and 4-pin input ports are connected, the NA-FH1 will automatically draw power via S-ATA and use the 4-pin port for PWM control and RPM monitoring only. This way, it is possible to control fans with high power consumption safely without risking damage to the motherboard.

The NA-FH1 transmits the RPM speed signal of the fan connected to the first port to the motherboard for speed monitoring. For additional watchdog functionality, all ports feature status LEDs that light up if an RPM signal is being received and go off if the fan stops or fails.

Suitable for 12V and 5V fans

Supporting both 12V and 5V (4-pin power input only) operation, the NA-FH1 not only works great with 12V PC fans, but is also an elegant solution for running multiple Noctua 5V fans, many of which include USB adaptor cables that can be used to connect the NA-FH1 to mobile phone power supplies or power banks.

The NA-FH1 features four strong neodymium magnets on the rear side, which allows it to simply snap into place on any magnetic surface such as inside steel PC cases. On non-magnetic surfaces such as aluminum PC cases, the flat rear side of the device makes it possible to easily fix it with double-sided tape or velcro tape.

First of all on rate features:-Noise Level: There are no moving parts so dead silent-Easy to Install: Easy peasy. Just sticks to the case wherever you want as long as the magnetic backing can attach (eg. steel case). Needs a SATA power connector to power it, then a primary fan connector that attaches to your motherboard (most likely you will use one of your case fan connector spots on motherboard), then remaining slots for the additional fans you need. Computer controls it just fine; no issues.-Quality of Material: Looks and feels sturdy. No loose parts that I came across. All cables hooked in tight and snug (nothing wobbly).I had ordered additional case fans to fill in gaps in my computer case, however, my motherboard only had three case pin slots (needed five total). This thing works like a charm. Now all five fans are running and controlled by computer (yes it detects RPM and can control it; won't be off or full RPM's like some other cheaper devices I've looked into).I have the device magnetically attached behind my case (back panel area) so out of sight with most of my other cables. The magnet is pretty strong and will not move without purposeful intent.Highly recommend this if you have multiple fans but limited slots on your motherboard.

I needed a fan hub for my case and found this. As stated it works with 3 pin fans with no problem, the magnets are pretty weak, and the weight of the cables moves the whole PCB. I had to strap all the cables to have no problems with that.

I've wanted one of these Noctua fan hubs since I first read about it over six months ago. Initially they were a bit 'pricey' even for Noctua but over time the prices have dropped, making them a bit more reasonable. Though there are less expensive fan hubs, I am familiar with Noctua;s quality and well-engineered products that generally last for several computer builds. I received the fan hub two days ago and installed it last night. It's a big improvement over the fan hub that was included with my Corsair computer case. I particularly like the use of magnets to secure the hub in the case (the Corsair hub had offsets like used for the motherboard, limited its position to one spot). This allows much more flexibility in hub placement within the case. Material was much more robust as is consistent with all Noctua products. The hub comes with a cable to connect the hub to a PWM fan header on the motherboard. The hub offers 8 headers for PWM fans to connect. When powered up the Noctua symbol on the hub lights up. Each socket is numbered and when a fan is plugged in, the numbered of that socket lights up. A nice feature to show that the fan is plugged in an recognized. For some people, the fact that this hub only handles fans and does not control RGB may be a deal breaker, but for those looking for a well engineered fan hub, you can't g o wrong with Noctua!

El paquete llego antes de tiempo a pesar de que venia de muy lejos y se entrego antes de fin de año, por el tiempo que he estado probandolo no ha presentado ningun problema hasta el momento y es bastante util si quieres quitar tantos divisores "Y" que pueden ser muy molestos para el manejo de cables, en cuanto al PWM de los ventiladores si puedes manejarlos hasta cierto punto con software de tu tarjeta madre o de terceros, pero creo que si seria buena idea acompañar este producto con su control de ventiladores manual pero ya dependera de cada uno si lo quiere hacer o no, recomiendo este producto por su calidad y su rendimiento.

Excellant fan hub. Elle permet de distribuer le voltage correctement, donc les fans garde une vitesse constante contrairement au fan hub no name qui le voltage varie toujours, ce qui fait que la vitesse des fans varie constamment.

Marche parfaitement bien,Étonnamment, les ventilateurs branchés dessus qui ne sont pas pwm fonctionnent a 100% , j'ai donc mis que du commandable et la c'est parfait. J'ai branché le 12 v aussi.Qualité noctua, rien a redire, les aimants bien pratique ! Et se calle parfaitement dans l'emplacement hub Ventilo de ma tour nzxt.

1. Make sure you plug it into fan case header 1, so you can control the PWM. If you plug it into fan case header 2/3+ you won't be able to.2. If you're connecting more than a couple of fans then you want to power it via sata.That's all.
