This is a lower height CPU cooler that can cool even the hottest CPUs like the Intel LGA 2066 and AMD sockets. I am not a big fan of AIOs, as I have gotten equal, if not better, cooling from a solution like this Additionally, they are easier to install and have a longer life, since there is not coolant that evaporates or a pump to fail.Pros:Easy to install. Took me a short bit of time to install.Has mounting hardware for many common socket types.Can support push/pull fan configuration.Quality build.Black coating that looks great since most motherboards are black.Uses 92mm fans that have good static pressure and are not power hungry.Very quiet.Has everything you need to install it included.Cons:Can be considered costlyDoes not have the clearance for some SFF cases.My temps with this cooler have been great even when running benchmarks or testing the CPU hard.This is a standard in air cooling. It is smaller than the larger Noctua coolers, but performs very well. The older lines, with silver and the brown fan cooling, established this pedigree, but the update and total black coloring takes it to the next level. When looking for an air cooling solution, this is one to consider, especially for black builds that do not have the room for a full size cooling solution.

Got this for my NZXT gaming PC build which has an i5 12600K. Does fit the LGA 1700 socket and includes thermal paste & mounting brackets for both Intel & AMD sockets. It was a bit of a hassel getting the Intel adapter installed but it does fit. Instructions could have been better though. Seems like good quality & seems to work very well. Keeps my CPU running cool & is pretty quiet. I also like the black color better than the usual ugly beige & brown color scheme this brand usualy in an almost stubborn way colors their coolers. Just wish this brand made more color options & maybe one with RGB lighting. They just need more gaming PC friendly options. Other than that seems like a well made cooler for under $100 & gets the job done.

I had to build a super tiny mini-itx computer for a dedicated amateur radio SDR rig.This Noctua NH-U9S fit the bill perfectly and I don't think I could be happier.I have built so many computers in the last 25 years that I lost count of how many. Under normal circumstances, I would never use a 92mm fan version of a CPU cooler...never! Most of my builds would be triple or double 120mm's fans [AIO] or even 140mm fans.I did not have a choice on this mini-itx build because nothing else would fit.This Noctua NH-U9S keeps the CPU cool as a cucumber, is utterly silent and is actually appealing to the eye too!Couldn't ask for much more!A+++

My son's Acer Predator gaming PC was running way too hot in some of his games with the stock CPU fan, to the point of where the system was slowing down since it exceeded normal-range temps.The case of that PC does not have enough room to drop in an AIO, or water-cooler, so we decided to try this, based on some other positive reviews we read, since the dimensions show it would fit the existing case.High temps dropped 20-30 degrees after installing this, so it was more economical, and far less hassle than moving the motherboard and peripherals to a new case.Two notes:1. You can optionally add a second fan to the tower, essentially a push-pull set up. I bought the second fan, but we didn't use it, and returned it. The temp dropped well enough with one fan, and we noticed there wasn't a second power drop for a second fan, so rather than wait and order a Y adapter, we found it cooled well enough with just one fan.2. For the Acer Predator specifically, you'd need to remove the motherboard from the case, to get to the CPU cooler mounts from the underside (no removable panel on the case to get under the board), but a trick we found online was to use M3-0.5 12mm machine screws, availably at Home Depot and Lowes for literally like 50 cents, and then you can do everything from the top side of the motherboard, with no need to remove it.End result was even in the most intensive games, the CPU is not overheating anymore. Worth the money, for sure!

I've had it on my ryzen 5 for 2 years at least. It's in a little itx case, and is absolutely phenomenal. Quieter than the GPU & case fans, black, cools plenty well for this cpu.

Al principio tenÃa algo de dudas sobre la funcionalidad tan maravillosa del disipador. Lo puse en un Acer predator orion 3000. Elegà este porque es de los pocos que caben en esta torre tan pequeña. El pc está muy bien en general pero venÃa flojo de refrigeración de fábrica, aunque con cooler máster. En cualquier cosa algo más exigente se ponÃa el procesador a 89-90°, eso es una barbaridad, rozando el lÃmite ya. Después de poner noctua, desde el primer momento, los mismos programas y juegos de antes, mismas caracterÃsticas, 25-30° menos que antes, de momento (3 dÃas) ha llegado máximo a 65 °. Eso es la ostia de bajada de temperatura. Me sorprendà para bien, pero que vamos. Esperaba alguna mejora pero tanto ni imaginaba. Y luego el montaje super fácil. Ni siquiera fue necesario desmontar la placa de Acer. Fue desmontar el viejo, mirar las partes que venÃan para mà placa (1200lga en mi caso, pero ahà partes y para otros - 1700lx, amd, etc...) y probé 2-3 variantes de montaje sin quitar la placa y colocar el soporte que viene en la caja de atras. Total, en 5 min aprovechando el soporte de fábrica coloque las placas y tornillos necesarios para sujetar el disipador, un poco de pasta térmica después de limpiar el procesador de la vieja (ah, dentro de la caja viene una jeringuilla con pata térmica de la marca noctua, solo eso vale 10 euros, asà que un detallazo!), apretar las dos tuercas con muelles para que reparten la pasta y se unan bien el radiador con el procesador, colocar el ventilador y enchufarlo y au. A funcionar. La verdad que una maravilla.

Je voulais changer le ventirad d'origine amd car celui-ci n'était pas assez efficace.En jeux mon ryzen 5 3600 montait à 65/70°.Je savais que noctua faisait de bon refroidissement mais je n'aime pas la couleur qu'ils optent pour ces derniers, la taille faisait partie de mes critères de sélection car je ne voulais pas d'un ventirad énorme et trop imposant.Et là je suis tombé sur ce ventirad full Black aux dimensions raisonnable. Qualité, installation, performance et silence au rendez-vous. Mon processeur est maintenant à moins de 50° en jeux, puis esthétiquement le ventirad s'intègre de façon harmonieuse dans ma configuration, pas trop gros pas trop petit. Vraiment content de mon achat, le prix du produit est cohérent. À savoir qu'avec est livré un tube de pâte thermique, ainsi que des attaches pour fixer un autre ventilateur, et une notice en anglais mais franchement avec les illustrations aucun soucis de compréhension. Compatibilité Intel et amd et au vu de sa conception aucune gêne avec les barrettes de ram sur un dual chanel.

Dissipatore compatto ed esteticamente bello (acquistati 2 come "Usato buone condizioni" con un risparmio eccezionale), molto silenzioso. Come da caratteristiche Noctua (NSPR - 93) nessun problema di raffreddamento per un Intel Core i5-11400 anche sotto stress, buona tenuta anche su un Intel Core i9-11900K "NON Overclockato". Ottima reattività alla regolazione di velocità della ventola, mantenimento delle temperature preciso. Prodotto di ottima qualità costruttiva, equipaggiato con tutti gli accessori necessari per il montaggio su socket Intel serie 11XX-12XX-17XX, AMD AM4-AM5.Veramente silenzioso!

Replaced the pre installed fan for intel I-7 1400 in my gaming desktop and went down from 65-72 degrees on idle and 85 to 94 on full throttle to 45-50 idle and 65 to 70 maxed. Great option if you looking for more reasonable temperatures !
