It's hard to tell what you're actually buying when you have to buy in "years" and not size, but in this case I got lucky. It has a slim fit, very nice fabric and weighted for spring. The sleeves were about 2 inches too long, but a simple fold takes care of that and might even extend use another year.

My daughter’s school requires all jackets to be navy blue as part of the dress code. I wasn’t sure about this brand but we absolutely love this jacket. She wears is every day and we’ve never had an issue with it. It’s warm and comfy. The instructions say not to dry but I do every time and never have an issue.
