Your Miyazaki fan will love any of the Noritake fine china (or is it fine porcelain? Never quite got the distinction, there.) Beautiful. If it has a gold rim, keep it out of the microwave!!! I wouldn't put it in the dishwasher, either, and I'm known for disobeying that rule with other things. And don't let it soak in dishwater.

I bought the matching teapot separately and highly recommend the complete set. This comes with two cups and two plates for the cups. The teacups themselves are smallish and delicate, so don't drop them! I absolutely love them though! The colors on the cups and plates are vibrant. Drinking out of this teacup has made my tea time experience more magical!

So cute! The china is amazing. Obviously delicate but not so thin to where I'm afraid to use it. The painting is quite perfect. Really not a single thing I would change about this. I bought 4 and the matching tea pot. Grateful for these to be my first tea set ever ♡
