Great little grinder. It makes coffee fun and fresh. So easy to use, it's practically effortless! Get the Titanium coated one.

This replaced a cheap grinder with some plastic parts that were beginning to show its age. While a decent product, i wanted an all metal product and this grinder fit the bill. no regrets, would buy again and would definately recommend for serious coffee consumers.

I got an Aeropress coffee maker a few months back, watched a few videos to see how to use it, and next thing I know I'm weighing my coffee and water to provide consistent results to tweak from. I've made pour over coffee for about 30 years, but always just eyeballed the coffee, and used a regular kettle with kind of slopped the water over the cone. Still very good, mind you, but I wanted to get better. I have a Krups electric grinder, but it is loud in the early morning house; YouTube videos showed me how unevenly it grinds, and how that negatively affects the brew. Cheap hand grinders had much the same problem with uneven grinds. I saw a video review of hand grinders where the Normcore did pretty darn well compared to much more expensive ones. I went ahead and spent the money; still not cheap, mind you, but way less that the upper tier of grinders. I'm very happy with it: it takes about 45 seconds of easy grinding for my single cups, and the grind size is much more uniform than the Krups. The capacity is not that large, but for my 250 ml cups of coffee it is just fine.

I got the titanium upgrade, and have been very pleased with this grinder. Mostly used with my aeropress, I'm getting super consistent coffee when I travel.

The grinder works great with Espresso, material is solid and premiumBut while grinder I hear weird voice like it’s fraction between the metal but not the grinding sound , it’s gives the feel of bad material inside .Overall I am satisfied with the grinding output for that price. After less than a year the wooden handle has been broken.

The notch lock for the grind size dial is welded, and the welding is already starting to erode - As I was cleaning there were black smears from the tack weld. This is not food safe, but it (for the most part) is separate from the grounds that go through, but still too close for comfort. It's probably not going to last a lifetime for this reason, so I would not recommend this grinder to someone who has the money to buy a better built one.

I shared an issue I was having with my grinder with Normcore. They quickly responded to my inquiry and delivered an effective remedy! Love this grinder!

The Normcore v2 with titanium burrs is a beautiful piece of equipment. Solid and nicely finished. Enjoying the quick, effective and consistent grind from the titanium burrs. The click adjustment to the grind is also great. My only feedback is the threaded ground coffee container bottom can loosen and potentially fall off when grinding if you don’t hold it.

I love everything about this thing, and rapidly went from thinking that grinding my coffee by hand might be a hassle to actually enjoying the process. It's easy to clean, easy to adjust the grind, crazily smooth to operate, and very consistent in its results. I also think it's pretty cool that it travels so well with my aeropress, because now I can have excellent coffee anywhere I can find hot water.I really cannot think of anything negative, and find this well worth the price!

Grinder itself is fine but it came with scratches some visible and some filled in with a sharpie. Should be discounted being that this grinder was obviously used.
