We needed this Zester for Lemons. It works very very well and we are happy that we bought this one. If you compare this to any in store item its well below the price. The quality is a high quality rubber. We have used it many times and the sharpness on both sides is just like the first day. I recommend it for anyone that needs a Zester for cooking or baking. Great item and very happy with my purchase. Would buy again.

I don’t understand the positive reviews on this zester at all! I wanted to buy another zester because I use mine so much it is always in the dishwasher when I need it. I couldn’t find the same style as the one that I have. I’ve had it for a number of years and it works amazingly well.This one was so blunt I could barely get any zest off my orange at all. Even using a lot of pressure down the whole length all I got was two of the finest thinnest shortest strips of zest you can imagine. It would be a major work out to get a teaspoon of zest with this tool!Check out my photos to see the difference between my old one and this one. This one has holes that are punched straight through and when you run a finger over them they are completely blunt. My old one has holes that are cut at an angle and are sharp.Not sure if I got a faulty one but I’m not going to bother getting another one the same.I am returning this one and have purchased a different one that looks quite similar to my old one. Although I am not sure with how sharp it is. Love this zester! You can zest or make twists. Very small and easy to use, and you can get the most out of a rind. I also use this for coring strawberries for jam!

The channel knife didn't cut into the rinds of citrus fruits as deeply as I thought it should have. This made it somewhat difficult to get a long strip before it broke. Also, I feel like they could have made it sharper. Maybe I'll have to learn how to use it better for maximum effectiveness.
