It was an exact match for the one I removed due to a bad electric motor. It fit perfectly and started making heat. Not much more to say. Good Item.

Correct fit for 665RP Nutone. Easy install. As others have commented. It is not as hot as the original. The heater coils are differently configured than the original. Less heat may be intentional as a safety issue. Shipped and arrived quickly.

My bathroom vent had the older heater assembly with the plastic housing which had cracked. I was hesitant to purchase this one since I was afraid it might not fit. I shouldn't have been concerned. Fit like a glove and even came with a new mounting screw. Plugged right in. Worked like a charm. A bit noisy, maybe slightly more than the older one, but I can live with that.

My Broan heat, vent light was older than the model 665RP this one was supposed to be made for. The major difference was the way the heat module mounted. What I ended up doing was using the face plate that is on the outside of the fan unit that directs the heated air out from the old, burned out heater assembly in my vent and cut off the tab that fits into the housing, as my older unit didn't have that feature and needed the tab cut off. Also, I had to drill 2 holes in it for access to the mounting screws. These modifications took me about 15-20 minutes to make in total. It then mounted right in the Broan 665 (no RP) housing of my vent and works great. If this wouldn't have worked, I would have had to change the whole unit out with a new model, so this saved me a lot of time and effort.
