I’ve replaced this part 3 times and it cost me $70 each time from the manufacturer. I tried Amazon this time and got the exact same part for only $15. Woohoo.

Easy to install but that was the only good thing about this product. Installed and it worked for 2 days and then it blew a hole in itself. I then installed the spare that I had purchased and it would not even fire up my pellet stove once . I called my service person and I was told that a lot of these aftermarket igniters are known to fail and may even damage your circuit board and those aren't cheap. They will be coming Friday to check things out and put an OEM igniter [which I am sure will be more expensive] in and hopefully my circuit board isn't fried. I should have known when it said made in China on the package, I was in trouble. I read other similar complaints on other aftermarket igniters but only 1 on this unit.

The holes for the bolts don't line up, so could only use one, if I hadn't needed it I'd send it back. It does work, doesn't get hot fast, and its a bit short, so doesn't actually come into direct contact with pellets, I have to push a few I to the area of the end to get contact. I just decided to order a different igniter to replace this one. Self lighting means I shouldn't have to do more than push the non buttons.
