On of the heads on my track light failed. This exactly replaced the failed head. Replacement take minutes.This means I do not have to replace my old track light. Thanks to Amazon for providing such a selection of replacement parts like this.

our track light is old and we were happy to find a new light to replace the original after probably 20 years . The new light fits perfectly. It came packaged securely. I was impressed at how well it was boxed. and arrived before the expected due date.

Glad we didn’t have to buy a whole new track light system since this fits our very old one!Switched from halogen to led and if it is left on too long then one or two lights go out. They do come back on after shutting them off for awhile. We will probably just save up for a new track rather than getting an led ?ballast? to modulate the power. Otherwise, we love the brightness and the money-saving of led over halogen.

I ordered this to replace a fixture.. It came but without a bulb, which is clearly shown in the photo and box directions for installing.. I did purchase another bulb, bringing the total cost for this Track Head to over $48.00. Certainly not a bargain.. and also extremely time consuming to have to drive and have to purchase a bulb. We live rural..

Based on my understanding, all track light heads are compatible with the same type of track. After attaching this track light to a compatible track, it will turn on the light, great! After 2-3 minutes, it seems like the electronics get overloaded, and the light goes out, failing to fulfill its most basic function.Might be a brand quality issue, buyer beware.
