I have used different sound deadeners in the past, but this one seems to be very good quality. Thick aluminum foil on one side. Easy to cut with scissors or a razor blade. the paper backing stays on good and is fairly easy to remove. The adhesive sticks like crazy, especially if the temperature is warm and you use a roller while applying it. Be forewarned that if you need to remove a section after it has been installed and rolled out, good luck as it does not come off easy or in one piece. Once installed it makes a notable difference in sound and pretty much eliminates that tinny sound from door panels, body panels, and floorboard. Precautions to keep in mind: the foil is thick and can cut you easily, wear gloves! Make sure to cover all surfaces you are working around that you do not want ruined, if you get it on your upholstery or carpet, it will not come off (at least I have not found anything that successfully removes it without making things worse!) Great product, the only real negative I found is that NVX folds the larger pieces in the box for shipping, this leaves creases and can cause the protective wax backing to lift up around those creases.

Very happy with this stuff. So far I have only used it on my two front door but the results are outstanding. Very easy to cut with a utility knife, sticks very well and folds around bends and corners of sheet metal much easier than I was expecting. I used two layers on the outside door and 3 layers behind the speakers with a foam pad on top to absorb back waves. Then i put it on the inner door and sealed off all of the holes including the massive hole that the manufacturer leave to service the window mechanism...hope i don't ever have to get back in there lol... I tapped on the outside of the door and then the other side that wasn't treated yet and the difference in resonance and vibration was substantial. I also gained a SIGNIFICANT amount of midbass from my Focal 165 k2 speakers. Also big difference in road noise. Still have plently left over to do the trunk when I get some more time. I'll be using NVX sound deadening in all installs I ever do from now on. Do not spend thousands on great speakers, amps, processing,.etc. without proper sound deadening and install. Excellent quality at a great value

Product looks good. I saw some comparisons to Soundskins which is more expensive. I have both, can't really tell if one is better than the other. Soundskins is thicker and heavier. But overall the product went on well and seems to work.

Added to the doors and rear hatch of my 4Runner and it's really helped reduce cabin noise and improve the sound quality of the speakers. Doors feel more solid when they close. Less interior rattles. Highly recommend. Apply it in large sheets to outer door skins, the inner door skins, AND the inside of the plastic door panels for best effects. The NVX sound deadening products have tested the best of all of the more budget-friendly brands. Apparently the CLD butyl layer on this is the same as their standard CLD sheets.

as stated this is a fantastic product and the price is unbeatable! It is very dense for the thickness, conforms very easily (I recommend using a heat gun as you roll it for ease of install), very sticky and most of all it works! Installed in my 92 K1500 which was a complete rattle trap to say the least... The stereo would have everything in the truck flexing and rattling so bad I didnt even want to listen to it anymore... I applied to main problem areas (roof, inner door skins, rear wall of cab) and wow what a difference! Sounds so solid and very little exterior/road noise (and I have 3" exhaust and super 10 mufflers)... Will soon be re-installing the stereo equipment so I will update my review to let it be known the improvement there

I loved everything about this product. I don't have 1 negative thing to say about it. Honestly I really tried to think of 1 thing that I didn't like and I couldn't find one. The package is great the materials that are being used for this product are amazing and lastly is, it just works so well. Super easy to cut and customize the shapes you need to lay down. Just take your time installing it and don't rush yourself. Make sure you have a ROLLER when doing this because it will make installing this much easier and quicker. I used it in my 2024 GMC SIERRA CREWCAB and it made the truck nice and sound. That tinny / rattle noise is gone. This was enough for me to do the back wall of the cab and the amp rack that went behind the rear seats, the doors and some spots just around the front dash area and a little bit on the floor but I didn't do anything on the roof. I wasn't trying to tare down the headliner yet, maybe later I will but again for 10 sheets of 18x32 this package was 💯🔥🫡ðŸ¤ðŸ¤˜ðŸ¤™ðŸ¤«

These are good but you have to cut out specific spots to get fully black. And a little tip to the manufacturer, if you're going to call your sound damping mat "stealth" then don't plaster your logo all over it. Personally I'd prefer pitch black with no logos. It's supposed to be inconspicuous, not a focal point for your advertising, completely defeats the purpose of being stealth. Most annoying of all, if it gets scratched or bent it turns shinny silver right under, also turning it into somewhat of a focal point. So a lot of the product was outright unusable because either their stupid logo was everywhere and would draw attention to the "stealthed" out area being dampened, or shinny spots from being bent or accidentally scratched in some way. Luckily the spot I needed to dampen was hidden way up in area under the gas flap to stop the door from making a spring sound when closed, so product did work and there was enough to truly be stealth in my case.

Added an aftermarket sub in a Lexus LX570. The box for the sub was plastic. I covered every inch of the plastic and wrapped some of the car frame around the sub mounting area. The sub sounds like it is mounted in a wooden box, not a Tupperware container!!! The material is thick and needs some elbow force to adhere, but well worth the effort. Great material to kill vibrations.
