I recently installed the Siless Hybrid 3in1 200 mil sound deadening mat in my car, and I’m genuinely impressed with the quality and performance. This stuff is pretty easy to work with , make sure the surfaces are clear of dirt and grease, use a piece of cardboard to make out a rough template then cut the film to size, you need sharp scissors. Work when its about 70 F the hotter the temps the stickier the adhesive is.Preplan your layout so the letters all match in direction.I used the roller tool to set the material in place this makes it easy getting the air pockets out. I am amazed at how much quieter my car is, I used this on a Porsche 928, in the hatch area and the front floors and on the back sides of the fender block off plates. I will add it to the doors at a later date. I recommend this material its works great.

Did my trunk and then some with the order. High quality product. Easy to cut with a box cutter.Will order more and do the doors next

I was skeptical at first because the shipped product differs quite a bit from the product image. As you can see its not this light green Butyl and the foam is pink, but I figured this could just be due to changes in material etc. Also it says that it has MLV, which I don't have experience with and thought it would be more solid, but its still tacky like the Butyl. So its hard to say if it is truly MLV or not on the topside.So as you can see I went all out and put it on the vast majority of surfaces of my cargo area. The adhesion isn't as good as the basic Butyl that they sell, but still very tacky. Overall I happy with how sturdy the top side is, and wasn't easy to puncture.The main reason I wanted to try this 3 in 1 version was for the supposed noise blocking of the MLV layer. I can safely say that it did intact dampen the tire drone and road noise coming from the rear. Theae big 35" tires make a lot of noise and thats why I wanted to start adding additional sound deadening.Because I am happy with the results, I plan to buy another box to finish doing the floor of the rest of my Bronco. This should hopefully further cut the road noise and make my daily commute more pleasant. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

It has impressive adhesive and dampens sound. Don't expect perfection if you are installing it in a 70 year old truck but it will improve it for sure

I chose this over the regular matting. It was super easy to install, but be warned, once it goes down, its there. Highly recommend sharp scissors and gloves. The butyl material gets very sticky. I was worried about the odor, but it was gone within day. I didn't noticed a huge difference in noise reduction, but my 7.3L diesel is very loud, so there could be a significant drop in noise and I can't hear over my loud engine. I didn't do the firewall where most of the engine noise comes from. I did roof, floor, and rear cab wall. Once I do the firewall, i will update the review.

This is an excellent second layer sound deadener to go over a base butyl rubber layer. I've used it in cars and recently on a dishwasher to much needed quietness. If you do use it on a dishwasher, make sure to coat the inside of the washer door.It works on it's own as a one step layer but is most effective as a second layer.

Size is great the many sheets you get per case! Very functional and the thickness is great easy peel and stick installation. Great value ended up buying a few more cases.

Placed this over the 80 mil vibration dampening material from Siless.The end result is the higher frequency noises have been muffled out and the truck runs more solid on most everything it hits on the road. Sound is better from stock speakers. Nissan has BOSE speakers, and the performance of this MLV has saved me the idea of having to upgrade my stereo speakers as the sound has improved to the point where I feel I've upgrade them.Applied to rear wells on a R51 Pathfinder as there was literally no sound deadening material on the metal.Applied to the floor, the rear wells, the five doors.It took 4+ boxes, so for a mid size SUV you will need 125 square feet to perform these areas.I did not apply to the engine hood or roof liner as yet.Hood will be the last piece to perform with this material underneath the stock OEM material.The very best tip I found in using this: bend the wrestle each piece prying to applying or cutting the material into the shape you require.

I purchased this for my 2008 Honda Civic LX sedan. Easy to install, cuts well with a knife (I didn't use scissors because they get gummed up). The adhesion is great! Will have to see how it sounds after I complete the rest of the car.
