Bought a used car for my wife and when we received the license plates I found out on of the retainers had rounded out and I could not get the plate out without breaking the retainer. I ordered these to change it out and it worked. It's a little big for the rear holes on a 2019 VW Atlas but it still clipped in with a slight bit of force since it was plastic. Seems to hold up just fine and I have 7 other pieces now should I ever need to replace it or the other one.

I Just installed these on a new car we bought. They were the exact size needed for license plates. Hopefully they last up north with the salt they put down on our roads.

I used these on my Motorhomes. Easy to install into existing mounting holes. The license plate seem to be very secure.
