ZERO DRILLING !! these fit like a glove. I purchased a Rivnut sert tool here on amazon and some 6mm riv nuts. I purchased washers and 6mm x 20 bolts here on amazon. SMOOTH AS BUTTER ! these look great and are not too shabby. they are spot welded. but really do you think your gonna get stitch welded thick fenders for $130 ? these are totally worth the money.. And I purched the KBD Plastic fenders $349 here on amazon.... THAT DID NOT FIT ! sad when $130 fits like a glove and a $349 plastic job fits worse that our current president. take my advice ... buy these if you want an easy install. 2013 JKU Thanks to the manufacturer !!!!

BUY THE $36 RIV-NUT TOOL!!!! It makes this install a breeze! If I tried to use the tool they provided, I probably would’ve been in my garage for weeks!I also put some gasket tape between the fenders and the body of the jeep. Also, do yourself a favor and hit the metal brackets sticking out under the front fenders with a little black spray paint BEFORE you install the new fenders (if you don’t just cut it off).I do find myself wishing these fenders were a little wider; I end up with a lot of mud/water/dirt flying up on my hood and windshield from the front tires. All that being said, seemingly good quality, good value, and almost exactly what I was looking for. If the front fenders were 2-3†wider, I’d be in heaven!

The fenders are sturdy and look amazing. The holes lined up perfectly. But I would recommend buying a rivet tool from a harbor freight or somewhere similar because the little bolt they give you to set the rivet would take forever and the head snapped off so a proper rivet tool will save you a few hours but other than that great product for the price

My fenders arrived yesterday and I had them installed by yesterday evening. When I purchased these I also bought a riv nut tool with a m6 insert. It was $35, not $300 like some other reviewer posted. These fenders are inexpensive flat fenders that allow you to run bigger tires without hitting anything. These are not $600 metalcloak fenders and shouldn't be compared to $600 metalcloaks. These are made well enough. Each fender is two pieces of steel tack welded to each other multiple times. As a future revision I'd appreciate if they had a continuous bead but for the price I understand why they did this. They fit perfectly with no issues whatsoever. A tip, don't screw the screws in all the way until you have all of them started. This will make lining everything up a lot easier.Buy the riv nut tool. Just think of it as an extra $35 cost to run these. There are 38 riv nuts you have to install. I am sure it is possible to install them with the tool that comes with these fenders, but with an actual riv nut tool I was able to install an entire fenders worth of riv nuts in under 5 minutes. This is having never used a riv nut tool before.I didn't buy the inner liners, I just cut the original one to fit and used a combination of bolts and zip ties to hold it in place right now.One concern I saw with these is that the riv nuts mount in the very thin sheet metal on the wrangler, and that if you hit one of these fenders with a rock you might break the sheet metal. This is a valid concern, but I think if I were wheeling in such a way as to smash one of these on a rock I would have invested in other fenders; but if you want, these bolt on. You could always just remove them before wheeling. Its 38 bolts, which would be a pain, but is perfectly doable.Installation took me three hours, having never taken a front fender off a Jeep Wrangler and including installing the original liners back in place. These are great if you have realistic expectations.

Very easy and simple to install with the right tool. I recommend buying a rivet nut tool if you don’t already have one. I used AOBEN 14†nut tool. It will make the installation much easier. They do provide one for you but unfortunately it didn’t work out so well for me.

I love the look of these fenders for the price. I should have read the reviews completely before buying them so I was prepared for what I was getting myself into. I have a 2017 JKU for reference. We started with the rear fenders. It’s honestly harder to get the factory fenders off than it is to put the new ones on. You basically have the rip the plastic cheap fenders off and bust all the little plastic clips out of the rivet holes, it was tedious. After that, we tried to insert the rivets but couldn’t, so I did purchase the rivet gun everyone recommended from Harbor Freight and it worked like a charm. Got to the front ones and there are 4 bolts that need to be removed plus the lights. That also took time. The rivet holes on the front fenders are slightly bigger, so the rivets that were provided slipped right in. But they also didn’t tighten like the rear ones. I did have to put the rivets on the inside part of the fender in order to make them tight, otherwise it wasn’t holding on correctly.Side note: once you take the factory fenders and liners out, you will see all the “guts†of the Jeep. Yes all the wires, suspension, etc. If you don’t like that look, then I wouldn’t recommend these. I wasn’t paying attention to the pictures when I bought these and I was unsure after installation if I really like the look. I’m considering buying liners and seeing if that looks better. Also, your Jeep won’t be protected from splash anymore with these fenders. I went through very minor puddles and I had mud everywhere; they offer zero protection. These are only for looks!

The product itself is great, however the tool they provide to install the 6mm rivets is a total joke. It is nothing more then a bolt, with washers and 2 nuts. IMPOSSIBLE TO INSTALL THE RIVETS. This is a joke. If your planning on installing these you should get the tool to install the rivets. I bought one at harbor freight, (after spending an hour trying to use the provided nut and bolt). This tool cost $50, but WEL worth it. I got all 4 flares installed with the purchased tool in about 1.5 hours, and that included installing inner liners.
