This kit contains everything I needed including needles, a felting pad, wool, single-needle holders, finger cots, pins, plant hangers, yarn, and pipe cleaners. The step-by-step instruction booklet and links to instructional videos are very helpful for beginners like me. The wool is colorful and felts easily. This is my first time felting so I can't really compare it to others but it worked great for me. The plants that you make are super cute and this makes a great gift and activity to do with friends and family.

This is a really cute kit! I love that it's not yet another chibi figure, but something a little more unique. Packed into a nice box ready to be wrapped and gifted, there are 5 each of 2 different size needles, a felting pad, 2 single-needle holders, finger cots, pins, stick-on plant hangers, yarn to hang your mini plants with, pipe cleaners, 13 colors of wool in varying amounts, and directions. It's a lot, it barely fits in the box.Each plant has its own directions, it's not just 'and if you want to make this other one, change this part'. They put in the effort to do it right. While there are only small amounts of some colors, there is enough to make all five different plants. The wool seems to be good quality, and felts easily. There are plenty of needles if you break some, something which happens a lot when you are first learning.This is a fun kit for beginners or more advanced looking to make something new.

I am brand new to needle felting but this kit is very unusual and has all you need. There is also a booklet of directions for each flower/plant. You get all the tools you need to make. At the beginning of each how to description there is a graphic that when you take a picture will send you to their you tube channel and show you how to make the plants. I will be following the instruction in the book and on you tube. Finally someone who does instructions nicely. The book has nice pictures of each step which makes it so much easier to figure out for someone new. I am very happy with this nicely done unique kit.

The kit that I received was well packaged and attractive. The box has a printed cover showing the projects, which is nice because lots of the kits from other brands are blank and you need to open them up to remember which kit is which. This set is attractive and would be great for a gift.I like the large fabric felting pad that came with this kit. Usually kits give you a piece of styrofoam to use as your working pad, and while the cheap foam works, it isn't great. This pad is much nicer and I will be using it for all of my kits going forward.The felt fibers are nicely colored and work as expected when stabbed with a needle. The plant patterns are fun and I can see myself making more of these in the future, but in rainbow colors.

This needle felting kit is a great set for anyone just starting out or for someone who just wants to do something very different. I love that. It comes with everything that you need to make all five plants. The instructions that came with it aren’t exactly the clearest, but that’s what’s nice about having the YouTube channel that you can go to to get better clarification. This is a very good set and I’d recommend it to anyone want to learn to do felting or for someone who wants to do something different.

Full disclaimer – I am not a felter, and I haven’t actually completed a project yet. I was just drawn to this kit because it’s absolutely adorable And I thought it could be a meditative project to do in the evenings. Opening the kit, I was so impressed by the quality of everything, and it’s all so neatly packaged! Really looking forward to working on this, although it does look more difficult than I anticipated!
