I used this to successfully get rid of the "3 Amigos" on my 2003 Discovery. I had the SVS error code and the ABS, TC and HDC lights on. I pulled this off the bottom of the ABS pump in-place, that is, you can get to this without removing the pump from the brake lines. It was awkward, I'd probably pull the pump next time, but it is possible. I also did the wiring harness splice (aka "method b"). Complete success, fully tested and working HDC and TC, no warning lights.

If you are looking to get rid of the Land Rover Discovery three amigos (warning lights indicating ABS, HDC, TCS), replacing the ABS shuttle valve switch is one step of the puzzle. This particular ABS module SVS is OEM, so it is perfectly fine to replace your original switch with. Here's what I learned:1) You can replace this switch without pulling out the entire ABS control module.2) It is easier to replace if you do pull out the ABS control module, but you will have to also bleed the brakes after making this repair.3) To get rid of the three amigos, you will most likely need to do a wiring modification to this shuttle valve switch when you are installing it. There are tutorials on the internet showing exactly what needs to be done. I did it and the three amigos are gone.4) If you notice brake fluid on the original switch when you are replacing it, you will either need to replace the ABS control module ($800) or replace the shuttle valve seals inside the ABS control module with an upgrade kit ($25.) It will probably start to leak after 60-70k miles and ruin your new shuffle valve switch if you don't replace the seals.

Fairly easy install. Exact match to OEM 10mm allen key and 30 minutes. Then say goodbye to tres amigos

So I had codes for both valves and installed these according to the instructions. This was an auction car so no history for how long the problem was going on for. After a couple of test drives I got the code for one. I decided to just drive it thinking maybe one was sticky. By the time I hit 100 miles they had turned off and have yet to come back. I believe the valve had gotten sticky from the actuators not working and just needed some time to free up.

Product as advertised, just didn't get rid of the three amigos as hoped for. I should of benched tested the part, especially with all the work you have to do to replace it. My bad, so I really don't know if it was a good part or not.

First off, this is a WABCO part. So, ya, oem..I had the "Three Amigos" on my dashboard. Land Rover owners know what that is.I bought this, installed it, (only took about 15 minutes MAX) to comets the when job. And now no more "Amigos" and my ABS is working great. Now, one thing you have to be sure of is that the ABS block itself doesn't have a leak. Otherwise you're wasting money because you can ruin the new butterfly module. This and the wheel sensors are the common causes of the three lights..

Worked GREAT! Fixed my "three amigo problem". A bit of a challenge to replace due to it being on the bottom of the ABS module with brake lines in the way, but all in it still was only about a 2 hour job. Surf the web and you will see detailed videos on haw to replace.
