The tools are NOT sufficient for the job and the instructions are extremely lacking and not accurate. Used the tools and followed the guide + consulted other videos and it resulted in a fried phone that could basically only text message.I have repaired dozens of phones and iPads with no trouble, but this ended up being a 12 hour nightmare

To start, be aware that no matter what replacement back glass you buy, THIS WILL BE AN EXTREMELY DIFFICULT REPAIR. The back glass on most iPhones with them, including the 14 Pro, is very nearly welded in place with absurd, cement-like adhesive not only around the edges, but all over the entire back, and the original back glass goes underneath the camera lenses, so you'd have to break that apart around them to get it out. Overall incredibly difficult, dangerous, time-consuming, and not at all recommended unless you have a laser machine like what professional repair shops use (not even joking). That being said, I was fortunate enough to be replacing back glass that was already a replacement piece, so I fortunately did not have to deal with most of that myself; mostly just had to worry about getting the MagSafe magnets off the old back and putting them around the wireless charging coil in the phone. All that aside, this particular glass panel, while definitely NOT OEM, worked fine as a replacement. It has the Apple logo and the color is fine (but not exactly the original). The included adhesive however, was absolute garbage. That is generally to be expected with third-party back glass replacements like this, but yeah do not use the included adhesive, it will NOT hold the back down well enough at all. I had to carefully peel off the included adhesive from the inside of the glass panel myself (being careful not to crack the glass in the process) and use my own adhesive to attach it to the phone (you don't want to mix adhesives like that). The panel itself does fit fine on the iPhone 14 Pro though.Overall, please know what you're getting into before you buy any version of this. If you're down for it, this panel works fine — as long as you make sure to have your own, better adhesive ready to use instead of what this comes with.

This was EXTREMELY hard to install and I do t recommend trying it unless you absolutely know what you are doing and willing to take 2-3 hours set aside to do painstakingly difficult messy work that is. Try risky and possibly even dangerous. You also absolutely need an eye protection, heat gun and a non slip mat ... like those are absolutely required tools you will need to complete this install.Don't try it unless you think you have what it takes and the patience and dexterity of a surgeon? It is absolutely the hardest install of any repair Ive ever done period...Took me a good 3 hours and accidentally stabbed myself with the razor blade, burned my hand in a few spots with the heat gun and a mess of glass shards all over my floor that I need to clean up...It's super messy, hard and dangerous.Be very careful around the middle where the wireless charger coils are.The camera housing glass was the hardest part.Just chip away at it little by little...In my opinion I wouldn't do this again and would just send it in to apple and have them replace the entire back housing... you can save $400-$600 by doing this repair using this kit but you risk completely bricking your phone, hurting yourself or worse...

Apple quoted $549 to replace iPhone 14 pro back. Saved me hundreds by buying this. Yes it took me 8 hours to completely remove all of the previously cracked glass, but for the money I saved and the quality of this back glass, it was totally worth it. Looks like nothing ever happened ðŸ‘🼠(recommend supplementing the kit with some of your own tools i.e a dremmel + rubber wheel to remove the leftover glue after getting all the glass off)..

It does work, it fit and glued in great. No issues. However it is not the OEM backing. It is slightly different cosmetically. There is an Apple logo and it’s close enough. So I recommend it if you need it.
