Do you need these, maybe not. But they make life so much easier especially when there is no lip on the hub to hold the wheels. Threads are perfect, material is great and it came in a nice box.

Its very strong and easy to use. I like how it makes lining up the rim holes while putting the tires on, a breeze. If you work on German or European cars, this set is a must, it's the complete set you'll need for most European cars if not all, and the price is great.

If you've ever had to hang a wheel on a car that used lug bolts instead of having studs you'll know why these adapters are useful. I struggled with lining up the holes in the rim with the holes in the hub for years and finally decided to break down and buy this set of metal dowels. You can buy just the size you need for your car, but if you're like me and work on multiple vehicles this is the way to go. Great value for the price, and WAY lower than what I'd have to spend on the tool truck for the same items.

the size and weight of tires is ridiculous.there is no way, especially on flat face mounts, to put a tire on.these are incredible. After taking off the tire, just screw 2 of these in place of he lugs and you can easily align the wheels in the proper place and put the remaining lugs in placedon't leave home without them....you need them.

I really like this set, not enough to give it 5 stars though because it has some issues that I would have liked to know beforehand:1. I thought it was a set of 8 different pins, it’s a set of 4 different pins with 2 of each pins. Maybe I just read it wrong but it’s worth pointing out.2. They are not as heavy duty as I’d like. For your average hobbyists and diyer you’ll be fine. I’m a mechanic, and though not many cars have this style of lug studs I’ll use this set at least once a week or so. It’s already starting to bend. For smaller vw and Mini Cooper tires it stands up fine but on the larger and heavier bmw and Mercedes 20†wheels the pins will bend. I’ve used the snap on brand equivalent of these and they’re much stronger but they cost about as much as this set for just one.

Works exactly as intended. I just wish the kit came with 2 more of each so that when you pull 4 wheels you could have one on each hub.

Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that it would be nice to have a bigger kit with 4 of each type in it instead of buying 2 of these kits.2 of each is fine for working on the ground at home, but if you want to be fast in a garage, 4 is a lot better.Other than that excellent value and quality.
