I had to replace my very old desk mat and did not want to pay a lot for one. I found this one to meet my needs. It came rolled up but unrolled very easy and became flat in a very shot time. It fits perfectly under my desk chair. It does show indentions where the chair sits but the corners lay flat. If you are a heavy person or have a very heavy desk chair, may want to get a thicker mat but I don't weigh that much so this mat works great for me. It stays in place and my chair moves freely which is what I needed.

I thought this was going to take away from the office space but I think it actually elevates it. It is actually very pretty. It is thick, soft to wallk on and it is durable. Chair rolls easily on it and it protects my floor from marks. Works perfectly.

This is a good looking product that would likely work on hardwood or carpet. It didn't work on tile - it was noisy and moved around. I was sorry to return it.

This mat is too thin for carpet.....you get chair indentations. Also, it's not a slick smooth surface, so the chair does not roll smoothly across it, you pretty much have to use your own self power to help roll the chair across it. For these reasons, I'm returning this and going back to my original one that broke and ordering that acrylic one again. Too bad, because I really wanted this one to work for me.

We moved to our first house recently and one thing I really wanted to make sure I got was a chair mat. At our last apartment my wheels of my chair actually ripped a hole into the carpet. Seeing as I really don't want to do any work on the carpet any time soon, I decided to find something durable to withstand the evil wheels of my chair.This mat has little spikes that help keep it in place. It's clear so I don't need to worry about it clashing with decorations. I've been using it for two months now and no wear or tear is visible.Do note: Your chair may cause little pressure dents in the mat. They will relax with time but it's easy for your chair to slid back into those dents.

Very clear, can see my rug no problem. Because there is no riverts underneath, you will have to adjust the rug from time to time as it will move overtime. If your using it under your office chair. Price wise excellent, no cracking showing. Ive been sitting on it a couple weeks now.

The vinyl arrived wrapped in a package so tight that it seems it will never straighten out. The edges have been held own with heavy flat items for four days now and the waves ( from the rolling) are still there. But it does protect the floor!
