This is DEFINITELY a great mat! It has a thick but soft surface and perfect for my need which is to use it under my makeup area so that any spills can be wiped clean quickly!!

Actually using this for under my birdcage as a poo and blueberry skin collector. Actually works great because it's so much easier to find the poo and clean this than a wood floor! Photo of the poo culprit included.

This May is great. It’s very thick and definitely protects my floors. The clear color is a lot less noticeable and looks nice in my office. It does slide a bit but for the most part stays put.

The description said the mat would stay in place Instead it moves everything you sit in chair. It wasn't cheap.

I ordered this thinking it would work well on carpet it doesn't. I spend most of my work day readjusting because it slides. This doesn't have the ridged edges on the bottom making it hard to stay in place when moving your chair.

This product IS stiff on a roll when you take it out of the box. However once I unrolled it a little it, it did flatten out somewhat. I did have to put some weights on it and left them on for a week to get to lay perfectly flat. After a week, I removed the weights and it lay flat by itself. I did not have to use a hair dryer or anything like that. My use for this is to have a 300 lb plus fridge sitting on it to so my floor does not get scratched.

Thought it would be a hassle to unroll and set up. It came out of box and was able to unroll right away with no issues and it pretty much went flat.Different from the mats you are used to , I have another one next to it which is the old thick plastic one which is now dark. This one is almost transparent, if there is no light shining on it , you would not know there is anything on the floor. Feels smooth.Edited to add that after a week of use, still holding up, chair rolls smooth, but it does shift slightly on hardwood floor .

It took a while to flatten out when unpackaged from the tube but seems to do the job. Expensive for what it is though
