I ordered this set because the one I had; I accidently bent the corkscrew. I found these to be easier to use then my old one and highly recommend purchasing this one. I find this one to be a lot stronger and more user friendly. No issues and the whole process of removing the cork a lot faster.

For half the price, this is a great alternative to the Screwpull I wanted to replace. The plastic is not super sturdy but holds up to daily use so far.

Easy to use, inexpensive, and sturdy. You can certainly spend a lot more for a more fancy name brand, but this cork screw works just fine.

My video didn’t work so you see I’ve already opened this nice, every-day Chardonnay. After removing the foil seal, I merely placed corkscrew as pictured, and with one hand holding the black stabilizer part against the bottle, turned the silvery lever clockwise as the spiral pierced the cork, and then just continued turning the lever the same way as the spiral went down thru the cork which then automatically started to just come up and out of the bottle. Purchased the 'winged' corkscrew. Just looking at this I could tell it was very flimsy, cheap looking metal. Tried using... only brought the cork out halfway. Tried screwing it in further, only to have demolish the cork. NO, there wasn't a thing wrong with the cork... not our first rodeo.Guess we should have known just from the price.
