Had to spring the clamp just a bit to clear sch. 40 PVC but a 1 x 1/4 wood screw and washer mounted the pipe using "pipe strap" without fuss.

The only issue I had was that my package arrived damaged, ripped open and MORE THAN HALF of the pieces were missing. So, I don't know how that happens or why the Amazon driver thought "this looks totally fine".. So other than the lack of concern with it getting to me in full/good condition, it's a good product.
