I recently used these furniture anchors for my bookshelves, and I couldn't be more pleased! These feel sturdy and well made! A must-have for every home with kids who might try and climb furniture to protect them from it falling. They're easy to install and adjust.

The screw that goes into the piece of furniture is an inch long and large in diameter as well. For things like grandfather's clocks or some shelving units there is no way these can work. It doesn't show on pictures the dimensions of the screws.

I like that this is adjustable! It makes it more versatile for different needs.It comes with all of the parts, but no instructions. So, if someone didn't know anything about securing these well, they wouldn't know that it's best to screw them into more than just drywall, and make sure it's attached to a 2 x 4.Otherwise, it's a nice basic safety measure to take, especially if there are children present.
